The Classic 500 Pentaz Executive Residence

I was initially wowed at the size and layout of the unit but put off by the wear and tear observed everywhere. But I quickly grew to appreciate the facilities here and extended my stay because the hotel was so comfortable and convenient. The suite was so large it felt luxurious, had washing machine (albeit no detergent) and an open-concept kitchen. Gym was very nice. Pool was available for a charge. Airport limousine bus stopped right in front of the building, and Seoul subway line 2 station was so close as well. A department store with food court in the basement, emart, movie theatre, coffee shops, ATM, restaurants and eateries were all very close. It was ultimate in convenience! Staff were responsive and professional. Can also walk to Hangang Ttukseom Park in about 15 minutes, too!

Facilities showed their age. Bedroom and living room floor had lots of dark scuff marks from luggage wheels; white sofa was grey from prior use and sticky and stretched out. Drawer front on the bathroom vanity had corners protruding from veneers peeling off; cracks and mouldy stain near the faucet, dishes were old-looking and scissors had sticky residue; kitchen cabinets showed obvious signs of grease stains in high touch areas; shower stall was mouldy and the plastic shower ceiling tile was cracked and had lots of little bugs that had died; bathroom tile floors were cracked and stained. Blinds in the bedroom had holes and stains in several spots. I submitted my feedback the first morning and a whole army of housekeeping and maintenance staff came and glued the bathroom vanity peel, cleaned the bathroom floor, and changed the shower head. Nothing could be done about the embedded moulds, cracks, and stains but I very much appreciated such quick and earnest response. Everyone was so respectful. The regular housekeeping lady for our unit was so pleasant!!

Location was excellent near Konkuk University station, with plenty of cafes & restaurants walking distance nearby. Also airport bus stop was a couple minutes away. Room & Facilities (fitness centre) were excellent.

Be more price competitive.

Modern and great layout! Very spacious!

Unfortunately, not new. Property had few cosmetic issues. Chipped walls, mold in grout.

Surrounding was a city view and outside window was dirty so could not enjoy the view of the city.
