Viejo Lobo

Run by a team of very helpful guys, they were attentive an helpful to all I needed. They made nightly fires and offered to cook meals - very nice attitude from Jose and Lalo. I had a 4-bed dorm room to myself - it would have been a tight squeeze with other guests. Bed was comfortable, showers were hot, WIFI was strong and only dropped out once. Low season at Cabo Polonio is a stunning part of the world I was happy to see this location outside of the high season. A good place to base for long beach walks.

Kitchen could do with a refit.

The hostel is centrally situated in Cabo Polonio, just a few meters away from Calavera beach. It has the basic amenities but everything is clean and beautifully decorated. Nice and helpful stuff! We went late March and I think it was the only place that still had enough visitors to socialize. But still it was peaceful and quiet to enjoy the nature. We had the double room on the upper floor (the only one with private bathroom) which had a very nice view on the beach and the lighthouse, totally recommended!

Everything fine! Just if you choose the room we stayed on the upper floor, be cautious with the staircase and also with the low ceiling at a part of the room.

Good location and nice staff, the volounteers are always nice and proactive. The hostel has a nice patio to chill, shower is good and basic kitchen.

The house is just too small and old for the amount of people that live here. There is no space to move and its super cold at night due to lack of insulation. In the dorm upstairs, you can't move for how little the space is, beds are old and since there is no door you can hear everything from downstairs, including music at 7:00am and party going on until late. They offer you to join dinner for 400pesos, when I was there it was pizza night and volounteering were preparing it. To be honest guys with this money I can make pizza for everybody or going to a restaurant! Definetevely expensive for what it is.
