A 10 out of 10 simply isn't enough for this incredibly wonderful hotel. It truly is the jewel of Tuscany. You can feel the thoughtful care and loving attention to detail in every single corner. The breakfast was absolutely touching—a true delight. Coming back to this beautiful place has officially been added to my bucket list. The jewel of Tuscany, and the true pride of Volterra.

Beautiful building, set in a large garden, spacious room, comfortable beds, nice view from the windows, powerful shower, fridge in room and fantastic breakfast with plenty of choice (hot and cold), including local produce like salami and cheese, as well as delicious egg dishes of all kinds, and lots of superb cakes etc. Would happily stay again.
Nothing major: The bathroom door needed a little extra push to open/close.

I went with my parents and my girlfriend, and we were all delighted. Luca is an amazing host. The breakfast is incredible. My girlfriend can’t eat gluten or dairy and every morning Luca prepared an alternative breakfast with great options for her. He and his family take care of every detail. Highly recommended.
