Den Röda Båten

I loved how authentic and characterful it felt staying here, since it's an actual old wooden boat. The cabins are relatively basic, but have everything you need, and of course you know these are going to be small. The whole boat, with the cabins, the hallways, the restaurant and the deck are really beautiful, in an 'old way'. The breakfast was really nice and the staff is very helpful.

This was to be expected on a boat, but the wooden cabins are not really isolated, so you can hear your neighbours very well. This is not the greatest if you're a difficult sleeper and your neighbours turn out to be night owls.

The views on Stockholm are simply unrivalled and prices very reasonable for the location. The interiors are cozy and quirky. Shared facilities are clean. Loved catching sunsets from the terrace overlooking the city.

Economy cabins are very small - as described - and crawling onto the top bed requires a certain level of fitness. Not a problem for us, but it may be for some.

Unique nice hostel close to city center. Personally decorated room that has all the basics. Bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast had good price-quality-ratio.

The location is most beautiful and the saloon cosy. Stuff eas very friendly and up for some nice chat.

Rooms, beds, and showers are very simplistic and could need a little upgrade.
