Villa was perfect for us, plenty of space and well appointed. Views were incredible, the staff lovely and helpful. The pool was brilliant. The outside space (of the villa itself) was great and fairly private but again the sofas were showing their age.
Some aspects of the villa were showing their age. The sofa, whilst comfy was pretty worn with a couple of little holes, and the air conditioning was great on the ground and middle floors, but on the top floor was only just keeping up with the job. We had one problem with a door handle but that was fixed almost immediately by the very attentive staff. None of this detracted from our experience and enjoyment.

The room was reasonably spacious, which was a plus. The pool area was well maintained — very clean and not crowded, which made it one of the few relaxing parts of the stay.
The room was not very clean — there were spider webs everywhere, which made it feel poorly maintained. The shower cabin was small, old, and very dirty. Worst of all, the wardrobe had a strong, unpleasant smell, like damp or stagnant water, as if the room had been flooded in the past. I’m honestly concerned whether our clothes absorbed the odor and hope it can be washed out. Maybe we were just unlucky with our room, since the property has mostly solid reviews.
