"Beautiful chateau, very close to motorway so convenient for an overnight stop on the way south. Lovely garden. Secure parking. Friendly hosts. I asked ahead if we could use the BBQ and when we arrived..."

Exceptionally interesting stay for us. The hostess Natalie realises the importance of connecting with your fellow guests. So over the communal breakfast table we got talking to visitors from Australia who turned out to be great friends of our younger son. Couldn’t imagine a greater coincidence but it was all thanks to Natalie’s hospitality. Also need to mention it was very dog-friendly. Lots of space for walking them (on-lead)
Needed to drive to get an evening meal.

Beautiful chateau, very close to motorway so convenient for an overnight stop on the way south. Lovely garden. Secure parking. Friendly hosts. I asked ahead if we could use the BBQ and when we arrived it was all set up. All we had to do was light it. Very dog friendly. Free use of communal kitchen which had everything we needed.
Other guests used the kitchen before us and didn’t clean their dishes. This was a shame - otherwise the kitchen set up was excellent.
