Wonderful place, wonderful hosts, and Nada's homemade Limuncello is the best we've ever tasted!

We had received very sad family news prior to our arrival at Villa Cebalo-Korčula. Our wonderful hosts, Milan & Nada made us feel welcome straight away and were so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. The large outdoor terrace nestled into the hillside garden has a beautiful view out to the turquoise water bay and private pebble beach. We enjoyed reading on the swing chair, breakfast at the outdoor table and coffee on the comfy chairs here - often with cuddles from the neighbour's friendly ginger cat we affectionately named Bob. The little beach full of birdsong, is a perfect tranquil place to relax on a sun lounger, enjoy a refreshing swim or paddle out on the two canoes available for free. Milan recommended an excellent local restaurant; Konoba Marko Polo 15mins drive away with great local food, a stunning view of the coastline and non-tourist prices. Korcula Old Town, Lumbarda and the little village of Pupnat - with it's amazing Konoba Mate restaurant - are all within a scenic 30mins drive. Loved our stay here. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful views and peaceful, quiet location

It is quite far from town and a car is really the only practical option - rental cars with insurance are going to average about $120 a day. There is nothing within walking distance.

Best place on Korcula

Not quite sure where to start! One of the best places we have stayed in Croatia. The apartment was beautiful and so well taken care of. You could tell that the owners really look after the place and make sure everything stays in amazing condition. The apartment had literally everything you needed. The facilities were amazing. The view from the balcony was incredible looking over the bay with the private beach below. Yes there is a private beach below. We loved the location as it was out of Korcula town but not too far to ride a scooter in if you wanted to go out for a nice meal. The beach was incredibly protected from all the winds so you were guaranteed undisturbed sunshine and water. The best thing about the place was the owners. A beautiful couple that made our stay so amazing and special. They were so friendly, warm and welcoming and were always trying to help us with everything we needed. They even offered to drive us to town upon check out and invited us for aperitifs before going out to dinner. I often found hanging bags of fresh tomatoes and treats on our door. It felt like family. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Europe to our favourite little place on Korcula.

Exceptional

The large flat was spotless clean and the location is wow...unbelievably beautiful! It was the perfect place to relax and spend some quality time with the family with easy access to rest of the island. Go swimming, fishing, canoeing or just kick back on the deck. Adda is a lovely host and makes the best creme brûlée’s ever! Highly recommended.

Our host was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the location which has access to a private beach. Great for morning and evening swims in between exploring the island or if you simply want to relax, chill out.
