We loved our four-night stay at Cascina Giardini. We arrived without doing a ton of research, just knowing we wanted to be in a part of Italy with great food and wine that wasn't overrun with tourists. It turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.
Our host, Andrea, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He sent us to fabulous restaurants, arranged private tastings at wonderful wineries, and suggested beautiful places to visit. Every morning he made delicious coffee and a plentiful breakfast with all sorts of fresh fruits, veggies, and juices from the farm and homemade cakes, breads, and pastries (we especially loved his prosciutto and cheese frittata!). We were so appreciative of all of his recommendations and expertise.
Our room was wonderful—bright, spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, with excellent Wi-Fi and gorgeous views. It was even more beautiful than the photos. We slept soundly with the windows open most nights, enjoying the fresh air from the large balcony, and the AC worked great on the one warm night we needed it.
We highly recommend Cascina Giardini and would happily stay there again.

Great place to stay for a holiday in Piedmont with a warm host, great breakfast, comfortable rooms and amazing accessibility to nearby sights.
Stunning hilltop location with a view amidst a hazelnut plantation and lots of greenery. 10 min drive to Alba, 20-30 mins from La Morra, Montforte d'Alba, Grinzane Cavour.
Breakfast was definitely a highlight with lots of local produce, great fruits, cakes, hazelnut spreads and a selection of cheeses and breads.
Andrea was always there for us with suggestions on what we could do, places we could visit - he made it so easy for us to discover the region.
Definitely coming back here.

Breakfast was incredible: yummy, generous with lots of choice and different cakes everyday. Everything was home-made. Andrea (the host) gave very good recommendation on what to do and to see, he is very knowledgeable.
