Had a lovely relaxing and comfortable stay in this spacious apartment.

Perfect apartment for a family stay with a young baby. Great location. Apartment clean , very spacious and comfortable.

The apartment houses 6 but there weren't 6 of each glass etc. Could have done with baking trays as we ate in. We went in January but the hotel and breakfast restaurant were closed. That wasn't clear on booking.

Peaceful, relaxing, recharging- just what the Dr ordered!

Clean, tidy, quiet

As someone who has been quite unwell recently and lost a lot of weight, I struggled with being warm enough with the top temp being 24 on the heating- but the lovely staff from hotel reception brought over a plug in heater when I asked which was super kind and very appreciated!

Lovely stay

We stayed in chalet 31, the facilities in the chalet were first class, a full kitchen, lovely sitting room and the bedroom and bathroom were first class. The staff at the hotel were superb, very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay 😊

A good base to relax in and to explore the area

Quiet location, but staff on hand if we wanted anything. Able to walk directly down to the coast path and the beach. Lovely view.

The stay gave home from home comfort but on holiday

Excellent location, near to beach, good walks and main supermarkets etc not far away. The accommodation was superb, spacious, clean (see comment about windows below), very comfortable, in excellent condition and well equipped also pool just outside front door. Parking was on site, easily accessible, easy to park and reserved for apartment. The apartment was not cheap but still gave excellent value for money. We would definitely return.

The windows had not been cleaned inside or out and we felt that there should be a fan, corkscrew and possibly a washing machine in place of or as well as the dishwasher

Villa 4 - Fowey

Really friendly and helpful staff, especially the barman who went out of his way to help us. Good facilities in accommodation, better than the photos and exceeded our expectations. Heated outdoor swimming pool in early October was great! Good parking. Within walking distance of beach and shops

Couple of very minor maintenance issues in accommodation e.g. Loose light fitting in kitchen, iron burn mark on carpet. Overall very good otherwise

The apartments were clean and tidy and everything was there from bedding to cutlery. Nice beach view from the living room patio and very spacious. Short distance from Newquay and short distance to walk to beach.

Comfortable

Apartment was spacious and clean

Lots of steps Advised them that I had mobility issues when I booked and was told that it was ok. Then when we contacted them a few before when had the room details emailed through was advised it was 9 steps to the apartment. I was infact 6 steps followed by a further 13 steep steps . This was quite difficult and it isn’t mentioned about the steps on the accommodation description.

The apartment was very pleasant and contemporary. It was very clean, and a generous supply of soft towels was provided. The beds were comfortable, though not exceptional, and we slept well. While the cooking equipment could be improved, we made the most of what was available. The beach was lovely, and the location was peaceful. The pool was also a pleasant temperature. Overall, I would certainly recommend this place and would be happy to return.

It would be beneficial if the beds could be upgraded, and perhaps the saucepans and frying pans could be of better quality, with a more generous quantity available. Cooking a proper meal for a family of four proved challenging without the food sticking to the pans, though I was able to manage with what was provided.

Great long-stay option for families

Great location, very functional kitchen and comfortable living space

The en-suite bathroom to the main bedroom in the 2-bed apartment was a bathtub only.. no shower so not very functional Staff are kind and helpful but there’s not many around which is a management decision I guess Would be super helpful if the wifi was better quality in terms of speed and coverage because phone reception in the area is limited Washing machine or laundry facilities would have been helpful on site as we were there for 1 week

Impressive self catering apartment

Lovely apartment no.6 Exceptionally clean spacious rooms. 1 with ensuite which was handy when 2 bathrooms are needed for a family of 4. Everything you could possibly need in a self catering apartment including coffee, tea, hot choc sachets on arrival with complimentary biscuits, kettle, cutlery, mugs, plates, microwave, oven and hob, cot, highchair, miniature shower gels and shampoo, 2 towels for each guest, clean freshly dressed beds, hairdryer, iron and board, fridge and freezer, dishwasher (bring your own tablets) absolutely spotless. Would definitely recommend.

Had to keep curtains closed in rooms most of the time as there was a public path which was used by other guests running past our windows and patio area. Privacy was obviously an issue here. Also no hot water on day 3 but was sorted within 15 minutes after calling down to reception.

Great holiday accomodation.

Location wise good to reach for us - we were travelling by public transport only during our hols. The appartment was one of a number, and while all very close to one another (compound) still enough privacy. The service support people were very friendly and accomodating.

Lovely stay and I would recommend

Great standard of accommodation and convenient.

The swimming pool was not cleaned in the whole week of our stay which was disappointing as it needed it and was closed in the evening so there plenty of availability. If that’s was corrected for the summer then it’s a lovely heated pool with easy access from the villas.

The property was well maintained, clean and well managed No bad behaviour, pool in good condition and used regularly and responsibly. Outside furniture in good condition

The double bed was too small. the wooden end of the bed hurt your feet whilst in bed The mattress was very uncomfortable

Ideal holiday

The area and how everything including the airport was close by within 12 minutes drive , the apartment inside and the layout was lovely and well laid out. Views nice and very close to a beach for an evening stroll. Staff very helpful including taxi drivers on day one as our luggage was delayed at airport for three days and he took us to local supermarket to get some staples as in clothes to to make do. Grand daughter loved it too

The only let down was the patio area at the back of our Villa there were a large number of big weeds growing round the perimeter of it and leaves everywhere. Villa next doors garden area was spotless round the edges and as we had same stones and chips a quick 30 minutes pulling up the weeds and sweeping up leaves would have made it a more enjoyable space. Wooden Chairs very low and hard not comfy to sit on for very long if you wanted to sit in the sun chilling, however having said this it would not stop us going back and we will be back again and would highly recommend to anyone going to Newquay or surrounding areas .

Lovely little base for a family holiday

Great location and layout of the apartment is great, bigger than i expected. The instructions were all straight forward and the breakfast at the main house was lovely. It was clean throughout.

Downstairs was very warm as there are no windows for airflow, only French doors out to the courtyard garden but you cant keep those open when you sleep. The downstairs bathroom is also peeling, from the poor ventilation. The mattresses are very squeaky spring, mattresses and could do with a memory foam topper for extra comfort.

Excellent spacious place to stay, good value for money and a fantastic location.

Excellent location, under 3mins walk from Porth Beach. Parking is very close and convenient. Spacious tidy apartment with open plan living and a very good sized kitchen, minimalist equipment within but enough if you’re only staying an few nights, under counter fridge, separate under counter freezer. Dining area for 6 too. Bedrooms are a good size, comfortable mattresses & pillows. Clean, spacious bathrooms. Perfect layout for families. My kids used the sofa bed and said it was very comfortable. Swimming pool was warm and easy access. Staff based in hotel were very friendly, helpful and responsive.

The spare duvet for the sofa bed was visibly stained & did not have a cover so we could not use it the first night - a new duvet cover was brought over as soon as this was reported the following day. The dishwasher had an intermittent fault which meant we had to hand wash dishes - again, the staff were very good at coming over to try to fix it but as it was the weekend, the actual maintenance team were unavailable. It would also be helpful to have a little bit of washing up liquid & hand wash in the kitchen for the first day arrival.
