Baden Lodge Motel - PRIVATE SPA Bath

The lady at reception is amazing! She's very welcoming and helpful. Loved the spa pool 🙂

Not really a dislike, more of a fyi, but there seems to be only two channels on the tv.

The receptionist is so friendly and accommodating.

The property looks very old. The blanket seems dirty.

Close to town. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The service was excellent. There was many offers asking if we needed anything etc. Despite anything else, the service cannot be faulted. The not so good things may seem like a lot but if you don’t mind a bit of dated decor, then this may be ok for you.

It is very dated and not as clean as it could be. Very damp. It seems the lady does all the cleaning herself and washes the towels herself rather than using a laundry service like most places. There was a very damp smell to all the linen and towels. The rooms were ok but the cleaning could be improved. Basic stuff was missed like bathroom windowsill mouldy and peeling paint, curtains missing clips, window latch missing on ground floor window. Shower head needs replacing. Spa bath taps are broken (but still worked) Car parking is tight and made even harder by overgrown bushes and old furniture blocking proper parking. The towels and bathmats we received were different each time. It’s a shame because this place has real potential. I hope the owner invests more into this place. It wouldn’t take much to improve the basics.
