Lovely old fashioned Spanish Style with a nice restaurant in a beautiful garden
Only one electric plug in the room, and we had two phones to charge

The team was very accommodating, prompt. Room was clean, tidy.
Location is ideal, very calm & walkable area with nice cafes nearby. Also, around the corner from Casa Giraldi.

Big room with 2 very large and firm beds. Wonderful sheets. Surprisingly quiet considering how close it was to the main road.
Located very close to Chatapultepec and restaurant districts
Very cheap price
Cleaning of the floors was poor, with grime accumulated in corners.
The bathroom tiles have black mould in the grouting, which was especially bad on the ceiling.
It needs a deep clean and then will be fantastic
The restaurant has outdoor speakers that were playing christmas music loud enough we could hear it in our room. From 730 am until about 10 pm. It was too cold to eat outside for most of this time. Not a big issue, but was a bit annoying.
Wifi was good on a laptop, but rubbish on a phone.

The only thing I liked about this hotel was it's location. I knew I wasn't booking a luxury resort as I was trying to go with a non chain hotel. Do not recommend.
Didn't like that my experience started with the hotel not finding my reservation then when found there wasn't a room linked to it l. Didn't appreciate the front desk staff's attitude nor the rooms I was assigned.. The bathrooms in both rooms were full of black mold. I couldntnget the type of room that i booked which was a Jr king suite. The manager looked at the booking and said that the description on booking.con was incorrect and that they didnt have such ammenities. Since i complained about the first room having lots of mold they put me in another room which was a smaller standard size room with a smaller bed. This check in process wasted 1.5 hours and that is no exaggeration. I filed a complaint immediately with booking.com which I am still waiting on a response from their genius plus customer service. Ive submitted photos and had to waste my vacation time responding and talking to representatives from booking as we went back and forth with the hotel.

Great location, friendly staff
Lights in the room were either too dim to be able to see anything, or didn't work at all. There were several random steps in the room, and with the dark carpeting, they were really hard to see in the dark. We had to put our shoes in front of them so that we could see them better. Even then, we tripped several times.

Third time staying at Hotel Park Villa. I LOVE how courteous, professional and friendly the staff is. I also love the proximity to Chapultepec etc. The property is also nice and quiet.
I recognize that it is a no frills hotel- maybe consider a microwave or a mini fridge in the rooms?

there’s mold everywhere and the curtains have never been washed. towels and bed sheets are super clean though so there is that.

Terrible. I stayed there in the past and had a great experience. This time, a year after, it was just bad. I won’t be staying there anymore. Bathroom was not clean and they forgot to leave water bottles- which they usually do. The guy in the reception was remarkably unhelpful.

I loved the calm ambience and the location is fantastic. I stayed with my two children, ages 9 and 11, and we could easily walk to the park and around the neighborhood. There is a convenience store one block away and some great cafes. There is a also a fantastic taco stand, Tacos Birria, that is walking distance.

The service of the restaurant and the manager was very good
Under my room there where the cleaning facillities and they started screeming and laughing already at 6:00am. Even after i told them to stop. A friend of mine had a long transit and stayed with us in the room for 4 hours. He had to pay another room worth of money to stay although we arrived at 2:00am.

The location was great close to Condesa. And the room was really quiet. The garden restaurant was really lovely. The menu was definitely not up to date and overpriced but just sitting in the calming garden in the middle of the hectic city was really worth it.
Loved that renting bikes was free.
Great water pressure in the shower.
Definitely a good budget choice in Mexico City.
The hotel could use an update. The whole place had a bit of a worn out feeling about it. The room was quite dark. A bit more attractiveness to detail would have been appreciated like coffee in the room for instance.
By mistake one of the receptionists gave me the keys to a room that was already occupied which felt a bit uncomfortable.
In some rooms the Wi-Fi was great in some it was really bad (I stayed in different rooms)

The staff were really friendly and the location was perfect as it was just a short walk to the park. The cleanliness of the room was spectacular and the hotel was more than ready for our arrival as we arrived earlier than anticipated.
We never ate in the restaurant as we found it too pricy. The walls were rather thin as you could hear people making a lot of commotion. Also, the Wi-Fi kept dropping out.

Beautiful, classic, old-school hotel. Right near the park, museums, quiet tree-lined streets with cafes. The facilities were great, bed comfortable, and staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant on premises is fantastic.

We loved our stay! And would book this directly again if we go back to Mexico City. It is such a peaceful environment. Everyone was so kind and they have a lovely garden. It feels a bit historical, so not your standard luxury hotel, but a small stap back in time. What we loved! The Green Park hotel, is next to it, of which you can use facilities as well.
We wifi can be a bit of a challenge. However the Greenpark hotel has great internet and cable internet if you need it. So we used it and it was great for working.

Charming original buildings that feel like you're in Mexico. Lots of greenery. Extremely friendly staff. Free bikes. Quiet, leafy neighborhood, with Chapultepec Park right next door, and the hip Condesa neighborhood in walking distance.
Everything was delightful.
