In reading the reviews i feel like I must have stayed at a different place. This hostal is overrated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is a huge draw, but pickup/drop off was a challenge with drivers. Fresh cut fruit for breakfast was nice. Shower was hot and had good water pressure, but you really have to be quick as it can easily get to scalding. If you turn on the cold, then you have a high pressure ice shower.
Mold on bathroom ceiling, looked like it had been painted over at least once. The hostal has a funk to it as all the bathrooms vent into the interior. The same bologna set out every day for breakfast; i wonder how old it was.
