Convenient for our purposes

Restaurant/bar closed. Pool didn’t look open, very tired. Turns out it was open for use. Definitely in need of urgent updates, cracks in inner walls - looks like the front part of building is moving away from back …😱

Fantastic place, loved it !!

Spotlessly clean inside and out, after hours check in was easy. The room had everything we needed including a huge comfy bed.

great location, great room for a no contact comfy night sleep in a great beach town

Room nicely appointed with extras like a small kitchen cabinet for meals, cocktails and comfortable bed. Very quiet and a big tub and a hair dryer as well as a straightening iron for hair in a cute little suitcase.

staff/reception is pretty bare bones, no one there for late check in or early morning to discuss breakfast service (or lack thereof). Price pretty high given the lack of service/contact with anyone for our stay - just a room with no ammenities

The restaurant is very small, there is no breakfast available and check-in was a bit complicated arriving after 5 PM, as the reception was closed.

Unfortunately disappointed, was not presented as advertised. Not worth the money paid. Cracked walls, dirty couch,toilet could be cleaner, couch -seats dirty Not enough tissues and towels. Was cold, no blankets to be found.

A comfortable stay

The room was spacious and well-furnished, with an incredibly comfortable bed and a peaceful environment that let us sleep wonderfully. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent, only a short drive from the Split Point Lighthouse.

We had dinner there and found it, overall, too expensive for what was on offer especially the drinks/wine etc. Didn't like the loud music in the dining room. It detracted from the whole appeal.

Very modern comfortable rooms. All of the features were picked out well and room was quite spacious. Bed was really comfortable. Room was also very clean.

Unfortunately the lights outside our bedroom stayed on all night and lit up our room quite a bit. Had to move furniture around to stop some of the light from coming in. Also just as a preference for myself, the pillows supplied were quite thick where I prefer a thinner pillow. Would have been good to have some options.

Fabulous stay at Sunnymead and meets expectations and walking distance to everything.

The room, design, the tea/coffee etc were terrific.

The facilities great and would prefer a table and chairs in room. The velvet chair and little coffee table are not quite suitable for a 2 or more night's stay. Or even a smaller lounge. Sitting on bed for this purpose not quite the same. Also the bathroom spelt damp smell, which was a little unpleasant.

Absolutely Fabulous Stay :)

Pleasantly surprised in attention to detail very comfortable

Only issue was key collection at restaurant at 5 (which was not open) we headed over the road till 5.45 & restaurant was still not open & another guest waiting called a/h number to organise them to open up so we then were attended to as we didn’t want to call & were patiently waiting :( perhaps have a different key collection method as restaurant staff were not friendly at all-seemed annoyed! No iron & board in room as stated & leaking shower. Also price was about $20 extra to book with booking.com but if I booked directly I would have saved so I will keep this in mind for next time

Everything had been thought of for an enjoyable stay - great shower, toiletries and lots of little extras in case needed such as toothbrush. Clean and airy room, with seating area.

A modern, clean, lovely hotel stay.

The room is really lovely, it's very modern, very clean, and plenty of parking space. We were able to communicate with the staff easily, they replied promptly. Everything we needed was there. The bed sheets were soft and comfortable. Directly across the road from the pub which makes dinner so easy. TV was very modern and we loved the apps readily available on it. Was enough car park space to park both our car and motorbike.

The bathroom was very cold even though it wasn't super cold outside, and there was nothing to do about it. So, showering was uncomfortable and you did need to brace yourself before doing it. It did take a second or two to turn on and off the water and let it heat up, SO you did need to stand there in the cold. However, having stayed in Victoria for quite a while, this doesn't seem to be an issue unique to this property, seems Victorians are used to cold bathrooms haha.

Was very beautifully styled. So inviting, above and beyond. Loved the fancy TV - display picture. In morning displays date, shows weather. Everything you need.

Unfortunately bookings.com stated check-in till 10pm. But no one was present when we arrived at 6.45pm. No answer on emergency Mbl. Had to wait some time for a response from staff, but eventually all sorted. Well worth the wait in the end. Need pump hand wash, everything else was supplied but hand wash.

The unit was beautifully equipped, modern tiling, good crockery, glassware etc. Colour scheme was lovely. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. A larger milk would have been better perhaps.... It was great to finally have quality toilet paper, however the roll holder was positioned poorly and not well secured to the wall. Memorable stay, highly recommended. Thank you!

They have thought of everything!

It is so well decked out, just like the images. They have thought of everything- a decent hair-dryer, decent mirrors, bathrobes, cocktail glasses and ingredients for them, card games to play, Nespresso machine. Loved it all!

We had an issue with a flashing disco light in the room(we found out later was the WiFi ) which kept us awake. Fingers crossed that gets sorted before anyone else stays in the room.
