A pretty tidy motel in a convenient location.

Room is clean and tidy . Location is closed to many restaurants , bars and activities.

The air conditioner in our room started developong very loud noise, which sounded like the AC was going to shatter into pieces.

Has potential to do better

Location was good. The swimming pool & spa was ok & nice to have.

Cabin not clean enough. It was busy December stay, not enough staff to attend to guests, very difficult to find a staff to ask or get something needed like toilet paper. The office is always not attended. The kitchen is not thoroughly cleaned, lacking in basic supplies like dishwashing liquid, sponge, tea towel & etc.

Great value

We had a great stay at Averill Court Motel, it met our expectations. Travelling with a large family on a budget, it had everything we needed. Easy parking right in front of our room, clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked well, the pool was great after a busy day out. We didn't use the BBQ, but if we stayed longer we would've - it was a nice area with undercover tables etc. close to the pool. Definitely recommend.

Loved our stay here, the pool was great, the spa was lovely, and the manager and cleaners were nice

We booked the house and a 1 bedroom apartment. The house was wonderful and it housed our boys and men it was spacious close to town and had its own entrance . Would definitely book again

The rooms were spotless and well equipped. I can't fault them. Parking immediately outside the door and wifi at no cost. Walking distance to the town centre. Would definitely go back.

Place was very clean and tidy

Clearer instructions on late arrivals. An email response to a request for a late book in would have been good, but didn't happen. So, I phoned and was told it was ok, but arrived to find the office closed and only a very general sign giving a phone number for any enquiries. A message on the office door providing me with confirmation that I was expected and what to do next would have been great.

Great 3 Nights In Paihia

Great location just a short walk away from restaurants, bars and shops. The lady on reception was really helpful and always had a smile on her face. Very reasonably priced laundry facility with washer and dryer. Spacious, clean room with everything we needed. We had a great a great stay here.

The cottage was a 10/10 for us its literally like having your own little house but still able to enjoy the motel facilities. Location is beautiful its clean tidy and great value for money. Winnie the manager is approachable and made the check in process so seamless. She was also available leaving her details incase there was anything we needed

The office lady was lovely and pleasant . The room was nice and clean with everything we needed to cook our meals. Spa and swimming pool were lovely for relaxing in the evenings. We enjoyed our two nights stay. Was great to be able to watch the international women's rugby on sky 👌

The motel is close to town, within a short walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. We stayed is a one-bedroom apartment; the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well-equipped (although no oven). Nice swimming and spa pool area, with covered barbecue facilities. The motel is nothing fancy, but it was clean and we had a pleasant stay ☺️

The lady who checked us in offered extra milk & towels for the spa without us having to ask :) The accommodation was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The showers are quite old school; however, they worked well, and bonus, there were two. Also two loos, which was handy as there were six of us. We were able to walk to and from town for dinner. As we had the house, there was enough parking for us all as we came in several cars. The other bonus of having a house rather than multiple units was having full lounge and dining area for us to socialise in. The kitchen was basic; however, it had everything we needed (and a lot we didn't use, cookware etc) Good full-size fridge!

A dishwasher in the kitchen would be nice :) The kitchen reminded us all of our parents' places growing up, and really, we are totally capable of handwashing.

A lovely break from home enjoying all that the Bay of Islands has to offer.

Nice size room, comfortable, full kitchen, very clean, the host Winnie was welcoming and friendly. Even her staff were easy to chat with, smiley and did a great job. We appreciated the little touches such as a litre of milk in the fridge not just the little pouches. An easy stroll to food places, beachfront and shops.

Great value for money in Paihia. We would definitely stay again! Comfy, roomy and clean.

The staff member who greeted us was helpful and friendly. She brought us extra towels for the spa and offered free WiFi. We enjoyed having a large kitchenette. The shower had great water pressure. The spa was hot and fairly private (although only one jet worked). The room was big and she let us have a pick of rooms as it was not a busy weekend. The beds were comfy and had extra blankets. We actually had 3 beds in our room (separate bedroom with double bed, and two beds in the lounge) only the placement of the couch was weird as it couldn't fit in the lounge due to the extra bed. Everything appeared clean and tidy. There was a good hairdryer provided too - which is a must for me.

I wouldn't change much! This had everything we needed and wanted and was a great price. You could walk to a few restaurants and the beach. If anything, just maybe put the couch somewhere where it could be used.

Host was very friendly and accommodating. Deluxe room was nice and big for our family to hang out and for my toddler to move around freely, the standard room was a good size for 2 people. Good size parking, nice and quiet and location very close to the beach and shops. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Towels and rubbish were changed daily which was nice. It was too cold to try the pool but the spa was nice. It’s a small spa so if there are a few people staying at the motel you have to wait your turn or be the first one in lol we saw the spa getting emptied and cleaned out every morning so it wasn’t available for use until 4pm. We enjoyed using the bbq area for dinner as well. The TV was a smart TV so I was able to log in to Netflix and YouTube for the rainy days.
