Apart from the lack of options for eating, it was fine for an overnight stay in our cycling trip.

Friendly staff with good English who also let us use their washing line to dry our cycling clothes. Freshly cooked breakfast.

No gluten or dairy free options. The hotel is in a very quiet village and it is the only place to eat but it is expensive.

Great hotel

Staff was very nice. They have a few rooms so it was not busy. The hotel has a little flower garden. With a restaurant next to it the menu is small but the items on it are delicious. The location was pretty. A small village with some history and sweet little stands where you can buy some items.

Charming hotel with a bar and restaurant in a picturesque village.

Lovely hotel in a small and charming village. The dinner was absolutely wonderful. And the ambiance was perfect. A beautiful garden for having breakfast outside in the morning. A very special experience.

This place did not meet our expectations...

The hotel is located in a very quiet town so ideal for people who want to be away from the more popular places near the water, but less suited for people that want to be close to beach or other action. There is private parking and you can leave bicycles safely under a shelter. The hotel is also a bar / restaurant with a south oriented terrace that has a view on a big, nice garden.

We stayed in room 7 which is one of the rooms with terrace and garden view. Although the room is big enough, the bathroom is tiny and as such rather uncomfortable to use. The lighting is extremely poor so shaving or doing make-up for women is a challenging job in there. The bed had 2 different mattresses, one was harder than the other one, which for some people can be an advantage, for us it was not. Breakfast was simple. A very small choice with rather basic meat and cheese products, although the fresh baked bread was delicious. Coffee was served in a big thermos can, not very tempting. The breakfast was served in a separate back room of the building, which was far from cosy. All in all, for 130 euros, I think you can get better value for your money. I would not really recommend this place.

We were comfortable and welcomed

Very friendly owner and dinner was delicious. We both chose the eye filet steak which was cooked perfectly and served with seasonal vegetables and salad. Good wine list. Breakfast was plentiful. Beds very comfortable and clean. On-site parking There is heating but no A/C so not sure what sumner would be like in the rooms. Value for money.

We truly enjoyed the family atmosphere. The proprietors have a lovely sense of humour.

We had a surprisingly tasty vegetarian pasta dish, perfect al dente and mixed through with well flavoured fresh vegetables. Pleasant breakfast in a light and airy breakfast room. The owners of this small hotel were extremely personable who immediately made us feel welcome. The tiny town of Noordgouwe is a gem of a place where time seems to have stopped.

The beds and pillows could be more comfortable.

We only booked for one night but it was very pleasant and would recommend it to others.

Good location. Lovely village. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well organized. Free secure parking. Good breakfast an free (prepare yourself) picnic lunch.

No view from bedroom window (was mentioned on the website so no complaints). First night couldn’t switch on the shower after switching it off (perhaps a regulated boiler system?); next morning no problem.

Een zeer mooi, charmant hotel,, met een fantastische keuken , heerlijk avondmaal, het interieur is zeer gezellig, de bediening en een praatje met het personeel is een aanrader. Privé parkeren (afgesloten) is tevens een pluspunt,,, en de rust, de tuin,, enfin in een woord, het is hier dik in orde !!! En op enkele kilometers van het Zierikzee,, een zeer mooi gezellig stadje

Prima verblijf voor 1 of enkele nachten.

Uitstekend onthaal, voordeel is dat dit een hotel annex restaurant is. Je hoeft je dus niet ver te begeven om iet te gaan eten. Knusse kamer en goed ontbijt met uitzicht op de tuin.

Gezellig hotel met uitstekend restaurant. Heerlijk gegeten, gevarieerd menu. Restaurant gedeelte en bar hebben een gezellige uitstraling. Ontbijt is prima, met ruime keuze aan broodjes, brood , beleg, yoghurt, fruit etc. Zeer sympathieke eigenaar en vriendelijk personeel.

We waren met 6 duikvrienden en hebben geen onoverkomelijke onregelmatigheden waargenomen. Bovenverdieping is wat gehorig maar wij hebben het niet als vervelend ervaren.
