We had a lovely stay at Garden Route Game Lodge. The reserve itself is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning nature. The safari experience was definitely the highlight of our stay, and we really enjoyed the game drives.
A special thank you to our safari guide, Zene, who was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable for us.
However, we were a little disappointed with the service from some of the reception and restaurant staff. We expected a warmer and more welcoming attitude, especially from a lodge of this standard. A smile and a friendlier approach would have made a big difference to our overall experience.

Absolutely everything, the location, the people, the service, the experiences, game drives, room ... All of it was amazing and I wouldn't ask to change a thing.
Bradley, our guide during our stay was also a legend. Great personality, knowledge and super hospitable to everyone.

The staff are so friendly and the place is really clean and the whole vibe from beginning to end is great. The staff provided Arabic agendas as soon as we arrived.
You had to let them know in advance that accessibility is needed in the safari so they can accommodate properly
