The unit was very clean and had everything we needed - cleaning materials, milk in the fridge, coffee, tea, sugar, toilet paper, and the kitchen appliances were of good quality. The kitchen is nice and spacious and easy to navigate.
Good quality linen and towels, very appreciated! Crockery and kitchen utensils were sufficient and of very good quality, it had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals.
Loved the huge fridge and gas stove! A larger kettle would have been a bonus since the stove top one that is there is very small and takes a good while to boil. The iron could not be used - it burned an item of my clothing!
A great comfortable couch in the living room, a huge TV for entertainment and a great-sized dining room table and chairs.
All in all, for a two-night stay, we were comfortable inside the unit, and 4 people can stay very comfortably there. However, the access and exit were something that needed a bit of planning, especially when we had things to carry up to the unit or down to the car.
The host was very understanding whenever we had a query, and was very helpful throughout our stay.
The location is good, but getting into the property is a bit of a mission. From the road, you access through a gate that is located at a strange angle from the main road on a steep uphill or downhill, depending on which side you are coming from, which you have to time very well in order not to disrupt traffic or make a mistake. Keep this in mind when approaching the vehicle entrance.
The unit is on the 3rd floor. Access to the unit is through a door, a gate that needs to be locked at all times, and 5 flights of stairs or a very small, old, dilapidated elevator. I tried to avoid it when I could, but with an elderly person in our group, I prayed every time that the lift would not get stuck! When we first arrived, the lift played up a little, but it thankfully worked for the rest of our stay.
From the main bedroom, the noise from the main road at night is something to get used to, but not a deal breaker. Both rooms had its own shower, but it was inside the room and not in a separate bathroom. The toilets were separated by walls and doors, so at least that is private, however, these were extremely small.
