The breakfast was delicious and located in the sitting room of the villa amongst all of the oroginal family antiquities, it was truly a special stay.
I struggled a bit with my luggage and the stairs. it would have been good to have someone available to help with that

Braekfast was good. The special thing is that it is being served in the beautiful rooms of an old palazzo. There are paintings on the ceiling and the walls and there is a grand piano . This and other old furniture give the place its special character. The two young people managing the place speak very good English. The place is in the historic centre of Modica. When I was there in May , it was very quiet. As I am an elderly person I apprecaited the fact that I could easily return to the place for a rest during the day.
My room, the last one of the corridor, has no direct window, but only gets light through a high window in the bathroom. In early May the room was rather fresh and I had to turn on the air condition to heat it. While I regretted not to have a view from the room, I admit that in summer when it is really hot, it can be an advantage to have no direct window.

Location was excellent. Multi generational ownership. Amazing decor in suite. Free Parking easy to find near premises.
The suite we had was situated at the front of the building and benefitted from a nice balcony on which to sit. The downside is that the suite is directly above a restaurant. Either outside seating. Bit noisy when we first got there but closed at 5pm on the Sunday and all day Monday. It may not bother you. Other rooms set to the rear of the property so not likely to suffer same potential noise issues.
Breakfast basic but adequate.
