Giucalem La Casa Negli Orti

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful agriturismo. It's in a peaceful rural setting, yet it's only a short drive from Villa Romana del Casale and the town centre, making it a perfect location. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Giuseppe was a fantastic host—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of delicious local products to enjoy. There is also safe parking, which is ideal if you're travelling by car. I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone visiting the area, and I would definitely love to come back again!

The duplex units were very comfortable and had very large bathrooms. They were quiet. You could not hear the other unit at all which has been the case while travelling. Looking for peace and quiet this is a fantastic spot. A family owned and run property you feel like you are part of the family. The breakfast is amazing. Lots of choices. We asked for supper and local wine and you can get four courses but… they are large courses. We should have stopped after two !! You pay for each course so stop when full. The local critters and the neighboring donkey are small highlights. You are not in town when here. It’s a lovely small acreage so come prepared as you won’t want to leave to look for anything you need. It’s very close to the Villa Romana del Casales which is a huge bonus. Well priced and an enjoyable stay. Thank you familia!!

The water heater was shared with the duplex and it kept going ice cold. And the units were cold too as the weather in April went very cold. It would have been good to know the air con would also do heat. Where we are from they only do cold air.

Enormous breakfast and dinner the evening before. Much of the food was from the farm and was home made and delicious.

Finding the farm as signage isn't too good.

Food was very good including breakfast and dinner although expensive. Dinner: 0.5 l wine, 2 big bottles of water, 2 plates of pasta, one amaro, and one desert were €35).

Location description is overrated. Located next to highway in a dumpy, non manicured area. Room and entire property very old fashioned (like inventory thrown together from the flea market) but I guess acceptable for the price. Bathroom has significant room for improvement.
