Everything, clean staff amazing

The long way down lane to get to it, not really a problem

We walked in and were immediately happy with where we were going to spend the next 5 days. We were met on arrival at the villa by our lovely host Wyan and shown all the areas, villas, kitchen, and lights . We had asked ( and paid a little extra for) a pool fence as we were travelling with an 18mth old and this was all set up in place as was a cot. Two freestanding villas located next to the pool provided two couples with a bit more privacy and direct access to pool. The other two rooms were conveniently located next to the main kitchen area and on the pool fence safe area but still these rooms had independent access, had large rooms and large bathrooms. In addition we had a BBQ area under a cabana that provided another area to congregate. There were plenty of lounges, day beds and a large cabana to relax in. Pool and gardens were immaculately kept and maintained daily and our rooms were serviced daily . Breakfast was cooked daily in the villa and served to a beautiful set table, and each morning were were given the option to choose what we wanted the next day... fruits, eggs, Indonesian dishes, juice, coffee. And everything was washed up! We were walking distance to few local shops for small things and supermarket for drinks and snacks and takeaway food.

Only a very very very minor thing but be aware the laneway leading to the villa is small. our arrival transfer van ( we were 8 adults 1 infant ) had a great driver who navigated the laneway right to the front door. During our stay if we grabbed a normal taxi some would come down the lane or we walked about 2 minutes to the main street - so no drama. Bikes were fine. On departure when our van driver would not come down the laneway the staff loaded our bags onto their motorbikes and took them up to the main road... now you cannot ask for much better service then that! So again not a problem. We had the privacy of a private laneway but were still close to a main road for transport to get to markets, beach etc.

It is a little dated

Good location, nicely designed green villa ambience - comfortable and clean. Well thought of facilities like mosquito nets and repellants, well equipped kitchen, clean pool and ambient fountains with koi pond. Close to beach and the main market with several facilities nearby. Villa arranged free airport pick-ups for us and had night guards after 9pm. Most staff were courteous with some language barrier, but the admin communicated well to organise everything beforehand via WhatsApp.

We had a very mixed experience while travelling with a family of 9... so will list the downfalls: 1. Unfortunately, we had some currency theft from 2 of our room lockers on the 2nd day of our stay while we were away on a sightseeing tour. Though reported promptly to our villa manager, the only action that was taken after a detailed discussion with the senior manager was to be asked to report the incidence to the police on our own for further pursuit. The manner in which all the room lockers in the villa were tampered on the same day and nothing else was damaged other than few AUD and GBP being picked up, it felt like an insider n experienced work. :( Very sad that it dampened our overall experience and told us off from using any of the room lockers subsequently. 2. The bunk bed room which is attached to the master bedroom was locked and chargeable per night, despite booking and paying for the stay of 2 children via Booking.com. Also, there were no toiletries/linen in the kids bathroom on the entire first day, making my daughter run around to find a place to wash her hands after using the toilet. 3. Bathrooms had a lot of water stains everywhere on the floors and needed some better scrubby-dubb. 4. Loud noise and music at night from the surrounding villas. 5. Bathrooms need a mess cover in open areas to stop excess mosquitoes from getting in.
