The property was in a great location

The property was very dated a bit tired looking

The room was beautifully quiet The facilities were good on the whole( see below) Lunch was very tasty and breakfast was perfectly adequate The dinner for the 609 squadron I was attending at the hotel was absolutely excellent. The room was perfect and the staff exceptional.

The wifi was very problematic. At times it would not log me in. It kept saying the password I'd used was iincorrect even though I knew it was the right one( I'd checked it very carefully). When I tried to hang my dress in the wardrobe the whole of the rail collasped which gave me a bit of a shock. I told them at the desk downstairs but they didn't offer to do anything about it.

Location was fantastic. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Good size rooms. Good food. Good price. Cleaning staff helpful. Friendly bar staff. Lovely hotel and great court yard space. Ear plugs provided just in case of busy noise. Nice touch.

Room not cleaned on second day. Bar guy that evening did help out though with fresh towels and coffee replenishment so all ok. He was very good. Reception team could have been more attentive. Waved us on into the bar while we only wanted to check in. Just assumed without asking. Had to wait with no interaction while doing admin. Reception team did not greet in the morning with a cheery hello. Poor customer service from them, could of been better. Rooms pleasant but wish the shower gels were in complementary bottles or at least nice bottle instead of the hand wash dispensers you see in public bathrooms.
