An amazing oasis of calm and relaxation.

If you’re looking for a hub for your Calpe cycling holiday or a base to unwind and relax then look no further. Perfect location to explore the amazing road network and only a short ride to the legendary Coll de Rates. Dedicated secure bike and gear storage with every single tool you could possibly need. An incredible spa that makes post ride recovery a dream. Hearty, delicious breakfasts to start your days. An oasis of calm and relaxation run by lovely, warm and welcoming hosts who made our stay a real pleasure. I’m already planning another visit!

Beautiful B&B set in the countryside of the Mountains

Hotel Castell de La Solana is a Bed and Breakfast in the mountains! We had been to beach hotels during our vacation and decided we needed a country side hotel. Well, we found it! Hannu and Nana the host of the B&B were excellent! Of course we cannot forget Della the doggie who greeted us the very late night we arrived., and became our best friend! It is a beautiful countryside home., great for walks, relaxing, and spa setting. We enjoyed an outdoor breakfast by Nana with Della next to us,then a great spa day in the facility the home provides. The outdoor pool with a hammock is great for relaxing and taking a nice nap. Rooms are comfortable with a nice tub for yet a relaxing bath. The views both night and day are beautiful , and the sound of birds in the surroundings connects you with nature. A bit of a different change of scenery and pace from our usual vacation. Definitely worth it! FYI Try Nana's bake pies!

We did not bring a car! This was our mistake because we were traveling with friends that live in spain and had to work after dropping us at Hannu and Nana B&B. Hannu offered to take us to a Pizza restaurant but we chose to walk to a local one and they picked us up on our way back which was very nice! Restaurants are far. Most do not open on Mondays so be aware. You need a car to get around and visit the local beauty surrounding the property. We visited a winery on our way back but you need to make appointment for tours. Also worth visiting. It is the Pepe Mendoza winery which they have in their home to enjoy.

Perfect Stay in the Spanish Countryside

Castell de la Solana is an absolute gem. The setting is stunning, perched with a spectacular view that alone would make the stay worthwhile. The property is home to 150 beautiful olive trees that give the entire place a peaceful, authentic feel. The nearby hiking and biking is fantastic. The homemade breakfast each morning was outstanding- healthy, thoughtful, and generous, with plenty of delicious hot coffee and slow pressed juice to start the day right. The sangria served was possibly the best we have ever tasted, perfectly balanced and full of flavor (and wine!). A special mention goes to Deia, the resident Boston Bull Terrier, who was as sweet and welcoming as the owners themselves. The warmth and hospitality we experienced made it feel like home, even though we were staying in a hotel. Highly recommend. We would return in a heartbeat. Already booking our next visit…

Perfect Easter break

We had a fantastic stay at Castell de la Solana. Nanna and Hannu really know what they’re doing and found the perfect balance between professional and personal treatment of their guests. We loved the breakfast, the cycling facilities, the spa, and the absolute top-treatment for our dog Lukas. Definetly would come back!

Disfrutando de la Vall de Pop, Alicante

Las instalaciones son excelentes, gran cantidad de detalles en cualquier rincón,. la piscina y el spa son una pasada. Por supuesto los anfitriones de 10. El desayuno también muy bien aunque personalmente prefiero que se pregunte el día antes, o tener un formulario donde poder elegir lo que se sirve al día siguiente, es más práctico y no te llevas sorpresas. Somos fans de Deia! XD

Un poco alejado del pueblo y por la noche toca coger coche, por el día con cuidado se puede ir andando por la carretera. También habían mosquitos en la piscina pero eso se soluciona fumigando un poco la zona,.

Una semana en el paraíso

La estancia en el hotel ha sido maravillosa. Los anfitriones, Hanu, Nanna y Deia, excepcionales. Los desayunos fantásticos. En todas las estancias emana paz y tranquilidad. El jardín y sus vistas enamoran....la piscina y el spa de lujo.....y el garaje para las bicis, superior..Nos quedamos cortos expresando nuestros maravillosos días pasados en este pequeño gran paraíso.

Helemaal super, gezellig en ontspannen!!!

Heerlijk gezond ontbijt, zelfgemaakt bananen brood, pannekoekjes, goede koffie. Hele dag fruit te pakken. Top!! En verzorgd door super klantgerichte, vriendelijke eigenaren, leuk stel uit uit Finland. En fantastische inrichting, sfeer!! Leuk dat de eigenaar wijntje meedrinkt en zeer geïnteresseerd is!! En zalig ook nog sauna.

Paradis à Alcalali

Si le paradis existe, j'aimerais qu'il ressemble à ce petit coin d'Espagne....et Castell de la Solana est un bijou dont Alcalali est l'écrin. Nous avons adoré ; les lieux si tranquilles et confortables, la vue incroyable sur les collines, la gentillesse de nos hôtes toujours prêts à faciliter le séjour et bien sûr l'accueil Dog friendly auquel nous attachons beaucoup d'importance. Las instalaciones está muy bien, las habitaciones perfectas, tienen un área spa y sauna increíble y los dueños son muy amables y atentos. Llegas como cliente y te vas como un amigo, te sientes muy cómodo aquí. Las vistas son increíbles.
