Hotel Castell de la Solana is a lovely place in a great location. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the ambience of the place was restful and peaceful. The breakfast was good, and a real highlight was tea and cake every afternoon, eating the gorgeous cakes prepared by Nanna. The extensive grounds and garden are fascinating with gorgeous trees and planting. There are lovely.views across the valley and the hotel's setting is stunning. We were here to cycle and the hosts provide a secure space for bikes and access to tools, etc for any needed maintenance. This is a great place to cycle around, quiet roads and spectacular mountains. The hosts of Castell, Nanna and Hannu, are very nice people, kind, attentive, and personable, and it was a pleasure to stay with them. Their dog, Deia, is a star. We miss him.

Mooie locatie en vriendelijke eigenaren
In onze kamer was de badkamer minder praktisch. Het bad was zo breed dat ik niet aan de kranen kon komen zonder mijn voet int bad te zetten.
Ook de lavabo was niet praktisch. Geen plaats om je spullen te zetten.

If you’re looking for a hub for your Calpe cycling holiday or a base to unwind and relax then look no further. Perfect location to explore the amazing road network and only a short ride to the legendary Coll de Rates. Dedicated secure bike and gear storage with every single tool you could possibly need. An incredible spa that makes post ride recovery a dream. Hearty, delicious breakfasts to start your days. An oasis of calm and relaxation run by lovely, warm and welcoming hosts who made our stay a real pleasure. I’m already planning another visit!
