Hotel Los Españoles Plus

A quiet and cute hotel in a pleasant area. Wonderfully helpful and polite staff. The cleaners really have a knack for keeping things tidy. Especially suitable for solo travellers, people travelling with any kind of special service needs, and/or families with young children. The breakfast is delicious and the restaurant has a decent clientele. The gym is quite small but very functional. The pool area is beautiful. Special attention has been given to safety.

The hotel is already a well-maintained entity. I would perhaps invest in firmer mattresses for the future, but that may be a matter of taste.

Good service overall. Everything was clean and well organized. It was also convenient for the cars picking me up to stop and park.

At reception, they could have been a little more flexible in allowing me to check in before the official time, especially considering that my room was already ready and that I had informed them in advance that I would be arriving early. For checking in just 2–3 hours before the official time, I was charged half of the daily room rate. I understand that this may be hotel policy, but I believe there could have been more flexibility. This is something that will make me think twice about staying at this hotel on my next visit to Santiago.

The staff were attentive and friendly, we arrived late at night and they were still awake. The breakfast was also very good.
