We had a lovely stay at Lambastadir Guesthouse and really enjoyed our time there. The location was great, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also a nice bonus to have a small sauna and outdoor hot tub available after a cold day of exploring Iceland. A special thank you to the two lovely Polish staff members who looked after the breakfasts. They were very kind and helpful. The gentleman took the time to mark some great routes for us on a map and gave us lots of useful tips. Thanks to their recommendations, we were able to make the most of our time and see many beautiful places. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from our room window — an unforgettable experience! ✨

Breakfast was pretty good. The couple who staffed breakfast were very helpful and friendly.
The advertising for this guesthouse made it seem like a farm-stay, and instead it was a separate guesthouse.
