Traditional Guesthouse Archontoula

The appartment is sweet an very functional, the kitchen had all which you needed but only had one saucepan and no fryingpan or dripper for noodles, the fridge was of adequate size.

We read on the reviews that the parking was a 4 - 5 Minute walk to the apartment, also we were informed by the owner or this. That's fine for a one-night stay and a travel bag but we stayed for 5 nights, thus we needed to unload the whole car which means walking back and forth 6 times carrying heavy suitcases and other bags. It’s a very difficult walk on slippery and uneven paving stones going down some steep slippery slopes, so be aware of this if staying for more than one night. Older persons and families with kids will find the walk difficult. In the end I found a way via google maps to reload my car directly next to the apartment which the owner never mentioned to us……. The downstairs apartment Nr. 3 has a nice terrace, unfortunately without a sea view buts it lacks a great deal of TLC from the owners... the plants and wines look terrible, almost looking wild and unattended with lots of dead leaves laying around, the chairs are the typical Greek (very uncomfortable) restaurant chairs, the terrace lacks some attention and decoration of some kind to make it more romantic for enjoying coffee in the mornings and a glass or wine in the evening, a few candles, pillows and a touch of colour would work wonders to improve the atmosphere, it also lacks privacy at the gate where lots of people walk past during the evening, this also could be highly improved. Booking.com mentioned that the closest beach is 4km away, well thats how the crow flys, in real it's an 8.5km drive and takes about 15 mins, by the way passing a very nice bakery on the way......

Our stay at the guesthouse was wonderful! Very clean, comfortable, cozy and warm apartment in the heart of Palaios Panteleimonas. Many thanks to the hostess Archontoula for her help and hospitality.

Everything was perfect.

Great room with everything you need. We had problems on the road, so we arrived at the place at 2 am. We were met at the entrance. Helped to get there, settled, despite the deep night, with the phrases "no problem." Beautiful place - great view from the balcony.
