It was secluded but still close enough to shops and amenities. We stayed in a Studio cabin, and it was perfect. Quiet trees and a bush outlook. The possums were a great novelty, having fruit readily available for them is a great touch. The fireplace was warm, wrap around verandah was great.

Absolutely wonderful staff, so friendly and lovely to be able to talk to. I love how peaceful it is there, the possum's rooms are my favourite. I have already booked 2 more holidays there.

We arrived after reception had closed. The fireplace was on, cottage warm clean and welcoming. We cooked breakfast the next morning. The utensils were sufficient. You need to bring anything you need that's not salt and pepper. That's not a complaint just a warning. Us 3 friends had a great night after a long bushwalk and dinner at the Ivanhoe, which was delicious by the way.

Location and very peaceful.
Cold! Would have liked to put the wood fire on as temp was 5 degrees (feels like -2). Not allowed! No wifi. Should have read the fine print - my bad.
