we had a wonderful stay at the Piesang Valley Lodge. The rooms and facilities were great, wonderful views and nice garden with pool. Breakfast was great and the staff very attentive. John is a great host and provides recommendations for the area and wants/ensures that you have a good stay in Plett. Strongly recommended!
Just be aware that you need a car for this property. Walking to town is not possible. Or take an Uber/taxi at night.

It is located in a perfect location, where all of Plett is easily accessible.
As a woman travelling alone I felt safe - especially coming into the property at night.
John was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home!

Ein ruhiges Plätzchen zum runterkommen. Die gesamte Anlage und die Zimmer haben solch einen Charme wir konnten sehr gut entspannen und das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich.
Auch John ist einfach eine Persönlichkeit, die man kennenlernen muss, ich denke die anderen Bewertungen bestätigen das auch :)
Jeden Tag nach dem Frühstück kommt er mit seiner Landkarte zu einem an den Tisch und gibt so viele gute Tips, wie der Aufenthalt rund um Plettenberg ein Erlebnis wird. Einfach empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Stunning location. Big comfy room. Beautiful pool. John , the owner is very helpful. Made a big difference. He was always on hand to give advice
Some things were a little bit tired. The shower could do with updating as could a few other things
