1. The bed was super-comfortable 2. Plenty of hot water 3. Well-equipped kitchenette (although with NO instructions at all for the stove or microwave). 4. Despite being on a busy arterial road, the unit was fairly quiet, which was nice.

1. On arrival, the office was open but on ringing the bell, someone came out. However, it turned out the Proprietor was "working remotely" and the staff member had to phone them to get a lockbox code to find our room keys. 2. The power point by the bed was so obstructed by the wardrobe that it was impossible to plug in my phone or hearing aid chargers there. Fortunately I had a short extension lead with me and managed to plug in my charger using that. The power point needs to be moved about 100mm closer to the bed so it's actually useable. 3. The room curtains were inadequately sized to fully cover the windows if you wanted privacy or needed to get a blackout to be able to sleep. I travel with a sleep mask, so fortunately that wasn't a problem. 4. Bathroom cleanliness wasn't great and some kitchen cutlery in the drawer hadn't been washed properly. 5. Later in the day of check-in, I went down to the office get the Wifi code and found a couple of elderly tourists there who had previously checked into their room but were having appliance issues. There was a number to call displayed but they didn't have a mobile phone available to ring the remote number for assistance. As they were getting no help at all I offered to assist. The stove problem wasn't immediately obvious until I experimented and found that being an Induction hob you had to turn it on at the wall, turn the hob's own power button on, select the element and select a power setting, THEN still required a pan on the element before it heated up. For those who are technically literate that isn't a problem, but for overseas visitors you really do need a short instruction card on the wall. 6.

Very spacious room well appointed Very clean and excellent value for money

Handy location. Have frequented a few times now. Good value. Good rooms.

Kitchen lights weren’t working. Shower floor is too slippery, needs a bigger mat or something. These are minor issues though.

The beds were clean

The floor wasnt vacuumed, the place had a funny smell the couch didnt smell very nice and at night you couldnt close the curtains fully
