Thaproban Beach House

We had a pleasant one night stay here. During check-in we were provided with fresh juice and the staff were welcoming. The rooms were superclean and well furnished and the beds were cozy. Wi-Fi connection was excellent. The rooms had tea corner. Toilets were clean too. The hotel is very close to the sea beach just a minute walk. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

One of our room had issue with an AC that was not cooling well. Upon complaining they said they will check that soon. We went out for some time outside and came back to the room to find the issue was not solved. So, we had to complain again to fix the AC. Eventually one staff came to check. We expected that the issue would be fixed at our first request. Eventually, they changed the room. I hope in future they will take it seriously and act promptly when a matter is raised by a client. This will make hotel service to a great service.

Location amazing. Staff so incredible beach perfect. For a longer stay a.pool would be great for kids

Close and easy access to the beach. Lovely front desk staff. Let me keep my bags at the front desk for a while after checkout.

I stayed in the penthouse which was slightly different to the pictures. The view wasn’t the same. My bed sheets had some stains on them. The hotel overall felt a bit outdated. For the amount of money I spent it wasn’t worth it at all. Breakfast was very mediocre. You have to tell them the night before if you want a Sri Lanka bfast which I wasn’t told. Also the reviews about the noise and music are real- I thought because it was low season it would be quieter but there was music till 10-11 pm at night
