Voevodski Eco Complex

I loved the scenery - there was a stream right behind the property, and then the woods started. It was very quiet and cool. The double bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. The food is delicious.

The pull-out couch in the first room was almost broken, I sat down and it almost folded up by itself. It also creaked a lot, with every single move. There were spider cobwebs and the windows were cracked. The bathroom was incredibly small, so when you showered, the water went on the toilet. The reservation included breakfast as well, all we received was a cheese puff that was kind of old and some sort of very thin yoghurt. At dinner, which was paid for, the waiters messed up our order, forgot to bring us some dishes and the bill was also wrong.

We stayed there for the first time and will be coming back! Beautiful place, quiet and peaceful, right in the heart of nature. Nice traditional restaurant where you can have dinner (and the breakfast is included in the price of the overnight stay). The best place to relax and recharge. There is an option for a nice walk along the nearby river, or exploring the surrounding villages - Zheravna and Medven, especially the Сини вир trail in Medven. Beautiful place, highly recommend.

Excellent location: very calm, in the heart of the mountain. Close to interesting places to visit: Zheravna, Kotel, Medven eco trail. Authentic Bulgarian architecture, beautiful garden. Very kind staff, delicious food.

Nothing negative to mention

A pleasant hotel—the cook was great and the food was fabulous. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, and dining room was clean and pleasant. There was plenty of hot water. The cook came out and helped me clean up a spill in my car—he was great.

The room was ok, but no place to hang anything. One tiny garbage can. The bathroom was tiny and there was no bathroom shelf space. The one small shelf above the sink was broken. It would be great to have more towels and a bath mat. The toilet often didn’t flush.
