Overall its a nice place to stay at.

Tidy and very nice room. Nice big TV and comf beds. Bathroom was very nice too. Very close to the city centre by car.

We were in the end room and therefore had an extra window. Considering we are pretty much right in the city, the window still didn't seem to have helped a bit to keep the outside noise out. Also unfortunately the parking is very tight. Bear in mind I do have a big SUV. Lucky it wasn't super busy as I had to park over two parks so my car wouldn't stand half on the drive way.

Fantastic service from all staff.

We had 2 couples staying in the unit. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Restaurant onsite, very handy. Showers great pressure and heat.

The rooms are a bit tired so matching the paint when they do repairs would be good or give the room a whole new coat to freshen it up.

The room was clean & tidy

The motel was so noisy with doors slamming , cars coming & goubg at all hours, heels click clacking along the verandah, staff outside at 1am, it felt like we were in a brothel where customers come & go all night! We told the owner we wanted to cancel the remaining 2 nights of our 3 nights stay - he told us to go thru booking.com and we did, but so far, they have refused to refund us!!!! Horrible, horrible experience!

I counted down each day until I left

The location was convenient

The room was not clean and there were signs of ant killer, dead ants by the bed. The staff conned me into paying a charge that didn’t exist and when I realised this and asked for my money back the staff member with whom I spoke became very aggressive and threatened to kick me out of the motel. As a 63 year old NZer returning from 38 years of living in Europe and travelling a lot in Asia, I was shocked at his behaviour. Still, you have to hand it to him, it is incredibly brave that a grown man should threaten a woman on her own, right?

The bed is firm and comfortable. The location is very good. I enjoyed the stay.

The area of the microwave and toaster is a bit small. I don't know what is above the area. If the above box could be opened up and put the microwave there, it will open up the space for making coffee, toasting bread etc.

Arrived late, advised proprietor that I would be in at 9.15pm which was ok with him. Pouring with rain and couldn't get owner to answer, Doorbell not working, tried ringing but took ages to answer

Great stay

This is not our first stay that the motel, we have stayed here numerous times. The location, price and the fact that we were able to have our two pups stay with us (dog friendly), room was spacious, glad that in the room they have taken off the old carpet and now only have wooden floors, which makes the space look so much cleaner and nicer.

The shower pressure has always been a problem - if they can turn it up even a little bit it would help. The outside of the property could do with some work to make it more pleasant - this is not a dislike just something that will elevate the property.

had to go to office to get wifi working , then again for tv, and on the 2nd night to get entrance card updated - staff very helpful and quick to fix the fault but would have been much nicer if they had all been working.

Better than expected stay

This motel looks old from the outside but effort has been made to upgrade and update the rooms. They're quite comfortable and despite it's location on Manakau Road, it's quite quiet at night. There are a couple of restaurants and take away food shops close to the motel which are of a good quality and service

You need a car or be able to catch a bus if you want to go any distance from this motel. Walking is also an option for those who are fit enough! Car parking can be in short supply on some evenings.

Cracked sink in bathroom and upon arrival staff were not welcoming or even interested in us. Parking was also very tight
