The hotel is one floor of a typical tall old building, directly opposite the Termini station.
Other small hotels occupy other floors.
Arriving on floor 3, the Marechiaro was excellent. A nice reception from the staff, at a late time around midnight.
A lovely room, a quiet sleep - 2 very pleasant nights.
The area around the hotel late at night was busy, noisy people and some police activity.
In the morning, all was different, coffee and breakfast at a nearby cafe, watching the world go by!
Then off by metro for a day around Rome.

Fantastic location! Just round the corner from the main train station and metro making it so easy to get around. Also we walked to a lot of places which were all about 20 minutes out from the hotel.
Lots of food places and shops near which is convenient.
The staff are great, welcoming and helpful.
The room was great, the bed was comfortable and we slept well the 3 nights we stayed.
Air con is amazing ! Especially when you are coming back to rest from all the walking.
Having complimentary body wash and shampoo/ conditioner was great as we were travelling light.
The hotel felt safe. There was no issues with any noise.
Thanks for a great stay we LOVED Rome
