Adequate accommodation not upto rates standard.

We liked that we could bring our dog. The unit had all the necessary plates and knives and forks.

1. We were told on arrival that if we wanted the owner to clean the apartment at the end of our stay it would be €35 but if we clean it no charge. I thought it was if we leave it in a mess so I left it. We always leave a place neat and tidy. He meant that we must clean it for the next stay!! That is disgusting. When I pay for accommodation (especially at this rate) I expect a deep clean to be done by the owners after every stay and it should be in the cost. 2. The beds were not made. 3. For an overnight stay there are no bathroom or kitchen essentials so bring your own. Soap, dry cloth, coffee, tea etc.

Appalling place where the host attacked us with a stick and threatened us with a gun because we calmly told him that the studio wasn’t like it was depicted.

Charming rural apartments nestled in countryside.

Comfortable, practical, clean apartments. The property and surroundings are very charming, rural, surrounded by nature. The highlight was the breakfast basket with superb local food. The host was very helpful and accommodating, making sure you don't lack anything during your stay. Good location, short drive to both Mt. Saint-Michel and Cancale.

Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! The location is perfect—close to Mont Saint-Michel, but also ideal for exploring other beautiful places like Saint-Malo and Cancale. The house was cozy and peaceful, just what we needed for a quiet break. Our host, Gonzague, was very kind and welcoming, and he gave us great suggestions on what to visit and where to find delicious local products. Highly recommended!

The welcome by our host Gonz was exceptional. Great location to drive to Mont St Michel, St Malo and Cancale. Shower and bathroom were very comfortable.

Wonderful host, really friendly. Very peaceful and quiet location but really convenient for exploring- Close to fast roads as well as small villages and towns. Shops not too far as well. Good sized rooms and nice big table for eating. Big warm bathroom. Lots of equipment for cooking and self-catering. Super comfy and really nice place to stay!

Beware there's no kitchen worktop so preparing food can be tricky, but the table is plenty big enough. No outside space directly from the unit (it's on the first floor) could be a downside in summer with a family, but was no problem for us in winter.

Off the beaten path in French Countryside

The host was very friendly and hospitable. The property was charming. It was 20 minute drive from St Michel.

The beds are hard and refrigerator didn't work well. Because there's no air conditioning, we left windows open at night and were bitten by mosquitoes overnight and woken by the neighbors barking dog. There are not a lot of restaurants nearby.

It was a pleasure staying here, we were sorry to leave after just 2 nights. The room was very very clean, all facilities- kitchen, laundry, beds- were excelent. The kids had a great time. very close to st malo (40min) and to the amazing mont st michel (20min). The host was freindly and helped with whatever we needed, he seems a very good and interesting man.

Nice stay surrounded by fields

The apartment is small but nice and well equipped. In front of the house, there is a spacious garden with sunbeds so you can enjoy nature. We were traveling with our dog and he had a place where he could run. The owner surprised me with a nice message and present as I was spending my birthday there. It is really nice gesture.

Very clean and quiet. It had everything a person could need for a short stay. It is really near famous cities and sites but you do need a car to reach them. The owner is extremely informative and helpful.

Although it was stated that pets are welcome free of charge the owner charged us 30 EUR additionally for cleaning because we were there with our dog. The other option was to clean the room by ourselves.

A wonderful experience.

Everything! The atmosphere and tranquility. The apartment had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. What made this stay extraordinary was our host, Gonzague who was welcoming and very knowledgable about the area, which is absolutely breathtaking. Also he went out his way to make sure we got the most out our short stay.

Super!

We had a great time at the Ferne! The cottage was spacious and well equipped. There is a nearby grocery store, and the unit had everything to make a lovely family dinner. The beds were comfortable with high end bedding, and black out shutters were available! The property itself is well located and the views from the cottage charming. Our host was knowledgeable and kind, and as a bonus, we were also able to borrow bikes, and bikes to Mount Saint Michel - an incredible added value! All in all, a great experience, great place to stay and offered a better sleep than many of the 5 star hotels that we have stayed in.

Apartment close to Mont Saint Michel

The host was very friendly, he brought us very nice breakfast and helped us with the directions. Mont Saint Michel is quite close. Cancale tour is also nice with oyster bars all along the beach. Saint Malo is a half an hour drive. The apartment is not new, but acceptable and clean. Best for a day or 2 days trip. It is next to a small road, but wasn't noisy. We could sleep well.

Great stay halfway between Mont Saint Michel and St Malo

Very comfortable beds, everything very clean, and nice and welcoming staff. It is more rustic but that goes well with the setting of the location. Within minutes from small and quaint towns and restaurants. Need car to get around. Recommend.

It was perfect!

The host had our duplex ready and open for our arrival. It was so clean and neat. We were comfortable and rested well. It was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delivered to our door and was fantastic. The croissants and jam were super. We loved our stay here and will return to see more of the area. Thank you Gonzague!!

A comfortable house with good equipped kitchen. Good value.

Its a pity the apartment is not directly connected to the back-garden and on the front it is very close to the main road. I expected a more rural setting. In the communication i don't like automated messages with all kinds of regulations and possible extra fees applied different reasons, that did not feel welcoming.
