Wonderful festive cosy comfy peaceful break, didn't want to leave, it felt like home straight away!

Lovely big balcony and although its a small thing, having a wee Christmas tree, tinsel and some local festive welcome gifts made a huge difference to the welcome and festive feel on arrival and during the stay which was over Christmas. The apartment was spacious, comfy beds and how lovely to have an additional en suite toilet and sink. The underfloor heating was lovely on arrival and you couldn't hear a sound from anywhere else. The shower was great, again, spacious and powerful and the beds were very comfortable.

The tiniest of things, nit picking really - the temperature dials had worn off the cooker.

A very spacious, comfortable and clean apartment in a stunning location.

A very spacious apartment in a stunning location. Easy to check in via key box, apartment was comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay at Beachcomber apartments again.

If there was more saucepans and baking trays in the kitchen area. Also, a squidgy in the accessible bathroom to help scrape water down drain as water went all the way to the door at times when showering and took a while to dry so kept getting wet socks.

Silverfish everywhere: kitchen , bathroom, hallway, bedroom...

If you currently sleep too peacefully and feel you need some spice in life, specifically silverfish crawling around you- this is the stay for you. The intense 'floor is lava' game we were forced to play with our luggage and ourselves was probably excellent for our calves, as was the surprise intermittent fasting when we couldn't safely store food. Staying light on your toes in the shower to avoid the scuttling silverfish is certainly a unique form of mental focus training. Ultimately, the only thing I truly liked was finally leaving. Thankyou to the Beachcombers Silverfish Reserve for sharing a percentage of your home with us.

The accommodation was uninhabitable due to a severe, widespread silverfish infestation, which was compounded by visible dirt and hair upon arrival. The property management was completely unreachable during a health and safety crisis, failing to answer over 10 emergency calls. This profound negligence and the subsequent refusal by Booking.com's frontline agent to secure safe alternative accommodation left us stranded, ruined a birthday celebration, and caused significant emotional and financial damage. Furthermore, my car was damaged in their car park.

Last minute break to Cornwall

Perfect location overlooking the beach at Watergate Bay, Lovely apartment with everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

The bed was only a double which was a bit smaller than we are use to ( but that is just our preference) And when these apartments have such an amazing view, why do they always put the furniture looking away from the view and set it up to watch the television?

Very steep steps to property and unexpected step inside and from showers to bathroom floors, all harder to manage with age and slippery floors. Apartment tired and in need of revamp. Small 4’6” double in a room that would more sensibly have held twin or super king. Second bedroom two narrow single beds. Old fridge and older table top freezer.

Amazing location

The apartment was well equipped and in an exceptional location. Very tidy and clean. We loved our stay here and will be returning.

During the night it gets extremely hot in the apartment even though the temperature was only 17/18 outside. I have read the reviews and others have also advised the same. Therefore, I would highly recommend fans to be allocated to each apartment to solve this issue. Thank you.

Not like any of the pictures. Mismatched dated furniture. Sofa bed was too uncomfortable to sleep on so ended up sleeping on the floor. There was an unnerving sizzling sound coming from the dishwasher socket and the bedroom lights. Nobody at reception despite being during reception opening times. Locks on balcony and front door were quite temperamental and appeared very worn which was a concern with children in case of a fire.

The twin beds were really too small for adults, they seemed quite narrow. The shower was fixed and not adjustable. the apartment was quite dark, not much natural light & needed a general decor & furniture update to make it more modern.

Amazing Watergate Bay

I enjoyed everything about my stay. Absolutely the perfect spot for food/drink, beach, walking, town visits, people watching ( it was a very busy place, perfect for a solo traveller)... if you have a pet pooch then they'll love it, though surfers loved it more. An absolutely gorgeous place that I will definitely book again

Last minute break to Cornwall

Very clean and well-kept apartment. Close to the beach and restaurants. Comfortable beds. The manager was very helpful. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

I had no fault with the accommodation. Roads are very narrow, but Cornwall is like that, and you need to expect this. It would be nice if salt and pepper were available in the apartment as it's not something you're going to buy for a short stay.

Great location for best surfing beach. Allocated parking space. Manager helpful and offered to move me but to a block further away from where I needed to be able to get to so not suitable.

Stench of damp, not remodelled since built in the 90s. WiFi terrible and not phone signal. Awful setup with every door being a fire door - which also means it’s very noisy with doors banging all day and night. Cream curtains in bedroom mean waking up at 5:38 with the light streaming through. Basic equipment. Orange pine galore. Skanky chair with someone else’s hair grease mark! Shower runs hot and freezing cold constantly. No freezer other than small compartment. No cushions. Missing picture. Signs everywhere telling you what you shouldn’t do. THE most bizarre check in - would not tell me what apartment number to order supermarket delivery - had to open a box with an envelope with my name on to find out what number (?????) Someone else’s used underwear left in lounge.

From the car park there are some stairs to go up before you enter the building. Then when you enter the building there are two more sets of stairs to reach the room. There is no lift so this is very difficult with luggage and young children. This is just something to be mindful of when booking.

Exceptional quality accommodation with fantastic views. Spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Great balcony with table and chairs looking over Watergate bay. Super comfy bed too.

The parking spot was a bit tricky to access with a full car park. The views come at a cost....3 sets of steep stairs. Not a problem for me but could be an issue to others.
