    We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and truly feels like a 5-star resort. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and offered great value for the money. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was relaxing. The only downside was the soundproofing. Although the room itself was excellent, we could clearly hear conversations and other noises from the neighboring room, and it seemed like they could hear us too. For a 5-star property, better sound insulation would make the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this resort. With improved soundproofing, it would be close to perfect.

    I am writing this review to express my absolute outrage and disgust at the treatment my family and I received at Hotel Ramada Kochi. As paying customers, we expected basic respect and hospitality, but instead, we were subjected to two hours of targeted harassment, arrogance, and illogical arguments by the reception staff. The Incidents: Two-Hour Check-In Delay: Despite arriving with my wife and children after a long journey, we were forced to wait for two hours in the lobby, being treated like intruders rather than guests. Absurd Documentation Demands: We are British Citizens. The receptionist, Angel, stubbornly demanded proof of an Indian address for all of us. When I booked this accommodation, nowhere in the terms and conditions did it state that an Indian address proof is mandatory for foreign nationals to stay at a Ramada property. Illogical and Arrogant Arguing: Angel was incredibly rude and arrogant. She outright refused to accept our British Driving Licences as proof of address, claiming they "are not issued by government departments"—which is factually incorrect. Shockingly, she then argued that an Indian driving licence would be perfectly acceptable. The sheer hypocrisy and lack of training were mind-boggling. Complicit Management: When I escalated the matter, Angel's supervisor did absolutely nothing to fix the situation. Instead of de-escalating the issue and welcoming a family with young children, the supervisor joined in on the harassment. Conclusion: To be humiliated and interrogated in front of my family by hotel staff is completely unacceptable. Ramada is supposed to be an international brand, yet their staff lacks the basic intelligence and training required to handle international guests. Angel and her supervisor completely ruined our stay and showed zero respect for paying customers. I highly advise everyone—especially international travelers and families—to avoid this hotel at all costs. Management needs to take immediate disciplinary action against Angel and her supervisor for their appalling behavior.
