The cottage itself is great and overall it was good!
First of all, when I arrived, there was a used tea towel and a spoon left on the kitchen table. I immediately contacted the facility, and they called me back saying it shouldn’t have been there — maybe a tradie had left it.
Before our stay, I had contacted them with some questions, but they didn’t get back to me until the actual day, and they didn’t answer the questions I asked. So there were definitely some communication issues.
The cabin itself was okay, but it definitely needs some updates.

Beautiful little chatet in Olinda. Well set up in bush location but close to the road. Large bathroom and bedroom. Great Spa. Enjoyable balconies on the Kitchen living level and the Bedroom level. Nice wood burner for cold nights. Generally clean throughout. Good support people with a helpful attitude. We understand the cottages were in the process of renovation.
Lots of little things, and some not so little. Oven didnt work. Crockery was mis-matched and dodgy, Ducted heating was not functional as main duct had come apart under the house (this was quickly fixed the first morning), mold smell in bathroom, glass shower door very dificult to open, toilet cistern flush lever got stuck sometimes, blinds old, warped, frayed and dirty, bedroom blind missing chain. Various lights out including stairs to bedroom. Front door hard to lock and unlock with electronic lock.
