Gas/log fire or ducted heating within each property. Three have spa baths,. Wine included in your stay for you to enjoy and we provide a late checkout of 10am.
This 4 bedroom 3 bathroom House is situated on a block with 4 other separate apartments; if you are wanting to host events for larger groups for business or retreats. Please contact me directly. We can sleep 18 people in total if you were to book out the entire place.
Olinda Rise Retreat House
Exquisite Handcrafted masterpiece built in Olinda in the Dandenong Yarra Ranges winning the 2005 building excellence award.
The moment you step through the door your breath will be taken away by the stunning wooden high ceilings an array of light gazing through the windows overlooking out to the bay views from the large deck.
Stay amongst the trees see the tranquil feeling it brings, encircled by nature: deer’s, kookaburras, rosellas, Koalas & much more! Don’t be surprised to have a Kookaburra come up wanting you to feed them they are super friendly.
You will then walk through to the living area; so beautifully furnished with the finest Décor. Snuggle by the wooden fire place whilst you gaze out at the stunning Bay views of the city, entertain on the decking area or just spend some time relaxing watching Netflix on the 65 Inch Smart screen TV.
2 of the Bedrooms have their very own ensuite & 1 with its own deck, there is a main bathroom for 2 Bedrooms to share which has a spa bath. You have a fully stocked Kitchen which you can cook or bake away whilst looking out at the stunning nature.
45 minute drive from Melbourne; set in the heart of the beautiful Mt. Dandenong Ranges. We are off the busy Tourist Road but only 2 Minute walk to the villages of Olinda where there are several restaurants, cafes, Bakery, IGA, Fruit & Veggie Grocer & shops.
Great for a romantic getaways, relaxing holiday, retreats or business events. Being in the heart of the Dandenong’s means you don't need a car. Walk to Olinda or Mount Dandenong villages, explore the National Parks walks and walking trails. Within 15 minutes there is Sassafras, Puffing Billy, Wineries and the Yarra Valley.

Overall we were very happy with our stay.
Its a good house for a family get together.
There were a few issues that the managers could easily sort out
1. The instructions to find the place were not accurate
2. The sign out front does not reflect the name of the property
3. The bed on the first/main room is terrible
4. Only two tea towels were available, and they were old and musty
5. Two of the dining table chairs were broken
6. Odd crockery for the standard of the home
7. The managers came about 30 minutes before our checkout time and were meeting near the front windows, we didnt like that at all
These things could be sorted easily and would greatly improve the stay. There are some great features of the property.
Lovely deck, great outdoor dining table, nice kitchen, comfortable lounge room.
