Hotel 1782 - Contactless self check-in

The house itself was wonderful, a villa. It is decorated in a nice mix of old and new. They only have about 12 rooms. I loved my room, it was well appointed - the bathroom was huge and they made the situation with being right under the roof work well. The house is very quiet, parking is available and free. Breakfast is not ample, but everything needed is provided (different juices, various rolls and breads, cereal and yoghurt, jams, scrambled eggs ...). A lady quietly moved around refilling things. She also helped me when I needed a sharper utensil to cut a liverwurst casing. Smart tv, coffee maker and electric kettle in the room as well as water and cookies rounded it all out perfectly.

Be aware that there is no front desk. I found the self-check-in a tad tricky. Also, this hotel is most definitely not accessible for people with mobility issues - a lot of stairs. It is not a negative per se, but just something to be aware of. At breakfast the only thing that was a tiny bit grating was the coffee machine: A modern machine that makes a slew of different coffee styles, yet it takes about a good 2 minutes to make a single cup of coffee. If there are 3 people wanting a coffee or a refill at the same time, it can lead to wait times. And for some reason the free wifi wasn't working for me. I could log on, but it didn't connect to the internet. (But that is possibly a personal issue with my phone.)

The house is beautiful. Central location. Extremely good value for the price. Self check-in. Very comfortable bed.

Wir waren zu viert mit Fahrrädern unterwegs. Die Besitzer haben uns freundlich empfangen. Sehr stilvolle Einrichtung. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll zubereitet.

Nix zu meckern

L'établissement est vraiment très bien tenu, et très propre. La chambre double était grande, ainsi que la salle de bain. Il y a vraiment une atmosphère très agréable dans cette maison, même s'il n'y pas de personnel (accueil / check-in/out). Les pièces communes sont accessibles et permettent de se poser. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Rien sauf une remarque sur le self check-in (qui fonctionne, mais pourrait être mieux expliquer en anglais). Je pensais avoir fait le check-in la veille mais en fait je n'avais fait qu'un "pré check-in" (mais les écrans sont presque identiques), le "vrai" check-in se fait le jour même uniquement à partir de 11h environ.
