Loucerna Suites Chania

Llegué como huésped y me fui con la sensación de haber dejado unas amigas en Chania. Las chicas son majísimas, siempre con una sonrisa y con ganas de echar unas risas cada mañana. Los desayunos muy ricos. La verdad es que estuve a punto de preguntar si buscaban un inquilino fijo, porque dan ganas de quedarse a vivir allí. 😂 Si buscáis un sitio donde os hagan sentir como en casa (o mejor), este es el lugar. ¡Muchísimas gracias por todo! ❤️

Los buses a la noche terminan. Es mejor tener coche, o dar paseo de casi 1h 😏

The place is 12 minutes drive from the airport, so perfect if you need a good rest but also conveniently located to reach Chania Town for a walk or activities. The hosts are so nice and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and are always going the extra mile to assist you: from food to transport or activities, just ask and they will 100% do their best to enhance your experience!

More of a suggestion than negative, a vending machine with drinks and snacks would be really helpful for late arrivals and early departures

Missing storage options (cabinets).

The staff were polite and generally friendly, and the overall attitude was welcoming. The location is convenient, parking is easy, and the view from the hotel is beautiful. These are the strongest aspects of the property. The hotel has potential and the atmosphere is pleasant thanks to the staff and location.

However, the overall experience does not justify the price of approximately €125 per night. The facilities appear dated and some maintenance issues affected our stay. The bathroom frequently flooded because the drainage was not working properly. There were no mosquito screens on the windows, and we were bothered by mosquitoes throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi connection was very weak and unreliable, forcing us to rely mostly on mobile data. The breakfast was quite limited for a hotel in this price range. The fruit often appeared dry and not fresh, and the overall variety and quality could be improved. In some cases, when issues such as food quality or mosquitoes were raised, partial measures were taken, but the problems were not fully resolved during our stay. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, as the room was not serviced daily during our stay. Overall, the hotel has potential, but significant renovation and maintenance improvements are needed in order for the price to reflect the quality of the experience.
