Ausblick und Lage und das komplett unkomplizierte bei ankommen und Abreise. Kaffee war vorhanden und besonders der Parkplatz und die Nähe zum Ortskern, sehr große Wohnung, top!

Access to the location is via a dirt road, which gets worse as you leave the main road, up to a point where it gets quite rocky and uphill. This is not a problem if you have a very high car, a 4x4 or a car you don´t care about. But, if you are using a regular, rented car, it´s a different story, specially when rental agreements in Karpathos island specify that you will only drive on asphalt (and I guess they make you sign that for a reason). Should you face any problem, it can cost you a good few hundreds of euros, if not more. The property should be crystal clear about the type of motor access, not just a "rent a good car because roads are not easy" (when 85% of the places can be accessed with a normal car). Same thing, clarity, should apply in regards to the access by foot to the village or the alternative parking (that we used the following days after arrival): if you have small kids, or someone of age or anyone with some kind of knee or similar injury, you may not be able to access the center of the village (which can leave you stranded in the property). Upon check out, the host kindly took our luggage with her 4x4 to the alternative parking area above in the village. Neither of the 2 bathrooms had a shower curtain or screen, which made the floors a total mess.
