Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa

Location is great, lagoon and snorkeling are magnificent. You can see sharks, Nemos, and wide range of beautiful fishes at your doorstep. Sunset if one of the best in the island. Staff courtesy is great (beach boys, waiting staff, room service). Some long term staff really care and built their lives around the hotel.

Had stayed there previously and it was 10/10. Need some immediate investment in the maintenance, Bring back the “care” for the details so much important in hospitality.

The overwater bungalows were beautiful and comfortable. There were some corals around the bungalows which made snorkeling, and even viewing from the decks, a great experience. The sunrise and sunset views were spectacular.

The location would be very nice. The island itself is amazing.

Upon our arrival during heavy rain, we discovered our overwater bungalow had a hole in the roof, so that it was heavy raining onto the terrace chairs, even though the terrace was supposed to be covered. When we called reception to request another bungalow, we were first told that this problem existed everywhere and that the resort was fully booked. A staff member was sent to check on this issue and confirmed it could not be fixed. Only after we went to the reception in person and insisted did we suddenly receive another bungalow, which clearly contradicted their earlier claim that the resort was full. This resort is definitely not comparable to others of the same category (and price!) on the neighboring islands. A resort of this category should prioritize proper maintenance and customer service. Sadly, we cannot recommend this property unless major renovations and service improvements are made.
