Weskar Lodge Hotel

My wife and I travel the world full-time. As such, we literally live in hotels, lodges and apartments on a full-time basis throughout the world. Most of of the properties we stay in are very nice due to the extensive amount of research we do to select the properties. However, on occasion we stumble upon a true gem. The Weskar Lodge is such a gem. We stayed 8 nights at the Weskar Lodge. First, Weskar is located just outside of town perched on a hill above the Last Hope Sound. This allows a very quiet property with a GORGEOUS view of the Sound and snow-capped mountains, but it is very walkable into town. The Weskar truly has a "lodge" feel - very warm, inviting and a joy to relax in. The rooms were spacious with large windows facing the Sound and mountains which we loved! But the best part about Weskar Lodge is the people. Weskar's team (front desk, restaurant, and kitchen) truly blend together to give Weskar a "family" feel. We enjoyed visiting with each of the staff and learning more about them and the Puerto Natales and Patagonia region. The food at the restaurant was DELICIOUS and so well-plated. In fact, we ate every meal at the Weskar! We would like to give special mention to: Joaquín, Cesar, Febe, Cristóbal, Carla, Yussephe, Cristhian, Camila,, and Yerka. We cannot thank each team member enough for making our stay very special. We were truly sad to leave the Weskar, most especially because of the staff. We HIGHLY recommend the Weskar and can't wait to return!

Large, comfortable room and bed. The staff were very nice, and the breakfast was great.

The property was not in town, but walkable along the coastal walkway.

Warm and cozy vibe, rooms. Excellent staff, convenient location. Loved our stay in Puerto Natales with the Weskar Lodge Hotel.

Everything was wonderful, except one evening there was almost nothing available on the dinner menu.

Nice lobby

Room barely able to walk around bed. Shower so small could not bend over to wash feet and i am small. Shower door setup facilitated leakage onto bathroom floor. Room overly hot even with window open and radiator off. Food in restaurant: toughest ribs I’ve ever had, tasteless fettuccini .
