Hospitable, homely, haven.

Carl, and Rhonda were wonderfully hosts. The cabin was welcoming and comfortable. Amenities were provided, and the hospitality that was shown by the both of them was outstanding. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the location was stunning. Would highly recommend A++!

Nice getaway, fairly convenient to Fredricksburg attractions. The hosts were welcoming & helpful.

We enjoyed the seclusion of the area, the amentities and provided breakfast items were a nice touch. We felt very safe and eenjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting.

The bed could have been larger and the water pressure could have been a bit stronger when showering.

Lovely people, lovely quiet place to get away from it all!

You cook your own but they provide wonderful ingredients and checked in during the week to see if we needed more of the local ham, eggs, fresh fruit, etc

The roof top deck on this cabin (siesta) chairs were not comfy so didn’t spend as much time time up there as we did in the other cabin that had more of a enclosed deck with rocking chairs (treehouse) Will request that one specifically next time

Beautiful, rural setting!

This was a wonderful cabin for a two night stay with family members. The view was excellent, and the cabin was as advertised. The hosts Carl and Rhonda were very accommodating, and made us feel very welcome.

The stove/oven was very dated. It made it difficult to bake the provided biscuits. But that did not overshadow the wonderful ingredients provided.

Beautiful and tranquil place to stay.

Beautiful setting, and the cabins were lovely. Well appointed and clean, and thoughtfully stocked. Farm fresh eggs from their own chickens and a selection of food and coffee from local folks. Everyone we talked to in town about the property spoke highly of the owners, and I can't agree more. lovely people and a great stay. 10/10 would happily stay again.

The view were breathtaking, Hot Tub relaxing, breakfast tasty and the host. We stayed in the Milky Way cabin and our second night the sky was so clear. The stars and sky we incredible. We will definitely visit again in the future.

The staff was wonderful, they made us feel like we were ar home and very kind. The breakfast was top notch and the overall experience was wonderful. I even had some minor issues with my motorcycle and Carl helped in every way possible. We will definitely be coming back.

Wake up to amazing hill country views

The location is by far the best part about this property. It is more quiet and remote than I expected but still just a short drive into Fredericksburg. The scenery overlooking the canyon is amazing. The cabin is almost much more comfortable than I expected.

Not a negative, but there were a lot of instructions and reminders. Definitely helpful and I can tell all of them were caused by previous folks, but it is a lot to review.

It was a wonderful, romantic stay.

The views from the patio were amazing. The canine was adorable and well outfitted. The items provided for breakfast were perfect.

It was a little further from town than expected but the drive made it interesting. Returning to the cabin after dark made me a little nervous but my husband (the driver) had no complaints.
