Super clean and affordable. The location is great in Legian. Staff are lovely and the food from the restaurant is great. Have stayed before would definitely stay again.
Most rooms at the Royal have no balcony. What they do have are lovely communal outside undercover areas with seating fridges and fans for each grouping of rooms further in the complex. The family room at the front over the lobby did not have this. Very small negative.

We got in very late and they were accommodating with that. The rooms had twin beds which was great and in a small complex.
The breakfast was expensive for what it was. , even though it was very nice.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room had no windows and exhaust fan in the bathroom. It felt like we were staying in a bunker. We were not warned of the axe throwing bar and the noise it would produce which was located beside our room. We had to endure the continuous banging of the axes hitting the wall until 10.30 in the evening. There was also very bad out of tune karaoke singing as well.
