The owner was a very cheerful and accommodating guy who went out of his way to be helpful, particularly on a couple of occassions when we were unable to eat breakfast, he packed it up so we could take it with us.
The location was superb, just a 2 minute walk to the train station with some great little restaurants in walking distance.
Our room was cleaned every day and the cold shower was a godsend during what was an intensely hot few days in Rome. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here if you arriving and departing by train.
It would have been great if breakfast started a bit earlier, 08:00 was a little late when we wanted to be out and about early to miss the crowds and the heat. Also, some fresh fruit and egg options would have been nice.
Shower cubicle was a little small and I couldn't get the shower head to face straight.
However, these were just minor inconceniences that could easily be tweaked.

Lorenzo made our stay very enjoyable. He also allowed us to leave our luggage there the day we departed which was a very generous gesture.

La Girandola is a property that makes you wish Booking allowed for scores higher than 10/10. It is an exceptional place in terms of comfort and care to the customer. Lorenzo is a phenomenal host - providing great and personal service that made this a truly exceptional stay.
The location is perfect for exploring Rome with a variety of transport options around, and perfect connection to the airport. Being near the main station, it is chaotic but safe place.
The room is sufficiently spacious, with good storage and amenities. The windows provide full sound insulation from the busy streets nearby while AC unit keeps everything nice and chilly for good sleeping.

Lorenzo is an excellent friendly helpful host. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from Termini. The room was very old but clean and facilities worked well. The air con was excellent and adjustable to the desired temperature. There was a good and very large continental breakfast. The wifi was excellent. We only stayed 2 nights but the room was made up each day with fresh towels.
The room and bathroom are very small but we managed OK. There is one flight of stairs before you reach the elevator but again we managed OK.
