My booking was for a single bed and they said booking.com did not mention that so I had to upgrade my room to have a single bed

It would be better if they improved the buffet variety, because hotels with the same rating are offering a wider selection.

Good location, about 25 mins from Chennai airport. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The restaurant food (Colony cafe, and Chap chay) were very good quality.
Sometimes there wasn’t anyone at the front of the restaurants to help get you a table which meant waiting longer than expected.
The room we stayed in was quite dated and need of refurbishment. The bathroom had areas of grout, and places like the shower door seal and back of the bathroom sink was mouldy from long term use.
The pool at the top of the hotel looks nice, but is fully exposed to the blistering heat. Maybe install a roof over part of the pool so customers can use it and stay shaded.
