P&O Apartments Old Town

Only after the cancellation period passed and against the Booking Confirmation Terms (the Confirmation said "NO PREPAIMENT, PAY UPON ARRIVAL"), I was requested by the host to pay IN ADVANCE through some payment link as a condition to give me details how to get to the apartment and how to access it. I was shocked and in panic and then I checked the reviews, which totally blew my mind! They were so bad, that I was extremely terrified before my arrival! To my surprise, the apartment on Miodowa 23 was QUITE DECENT! Not bad at all! Yes, it is an old apartment (it has the smell of old wood / furniture). Yes, it needs refurbishing / re-painting of the walls. Yes, it could have been cleaned better. But, the bedding set was clean, the toilet was clean and equipped with shampoos/ shower gel bags, soaps/ toilet paper. It had a hair dryer. It had not only 2 towels (small and big) but additional 2 left for the feet and for hands. I rarely get 4 towels in accommodations I go! The kitchen - spacious, with detergent and sponge. Coffee bags, kettle, sugar, glasses, plates, cutlery - everything!. All the kitchen facilities were there. My stay was very pleasant and this particular apartment deserves a better score! I can only recommend it - spacious, well equipped, perfect location - close to the old town!

Several things: THE ENTRANCE IS NOT ON MIODOWA 23 STREET, BUT ON SHILLERA STREET! 1. The hosts violated the Confirmation Terms and requested advance payment - not only for the accommodation, but equally big amount for a DEPOSIT! (the payment of deposit was written with small letters in the part of additional info, which I haven't paid attention to when reserving) In addition, they refused to ask Booking to keep the deposit/ reserve it from my card, but insisted on paying through some Polish payment link, which seemed unsafe and suspicious to me. I exhausted myself in communicating this problem to Booking, incurred significant telephone costs in trying to resolve the issue with Booking Customer Support - but to no success. And the host refused to give me access details (location, codes, wi-fi password, etc.) before I pay them the deposit on the link. I was highly concerned and upset that I might arrive in Warsaw and not have the place to sleep, so I paid on the link. The host sent me the access details then, even though not quite clear and it was a bit difficult to find the key lock box. 2. It could have been cleaned more thoroughly! 3. Booking team should not accept payments through external links sent by the hosts but ONLY THROUGH THE SAVED CREDIT CARD on Booking profile! 4. Hosts should send much more precise information on how to get and access the apartment!

It’s a great location. The apartment was super clean, very big and has all equipment you need for the stay.

The shower wasn’t working and the basin was a bit clogged. Bed was big, but a bit hard.

Location was good, especially when you plan to explore Old Town in Warsaw. Apparent was clean and you could cook your own meals if you wanted .. ..

It was ground floor so it was pretty loud. The bed was small and there was no mattress protector or fitted sheet so the sheets kept coming off and it didn't feel hygienic to kept waking up and a mattress ... Overall all I feel like it looks much better on pictures that ot is in real life ... I think it was a little but overpriced !

Staff were kind and very quick to respond to any messages which gives you comfort in a foreign country if you are in need. Great location!

The whole flat was a kind of dirty, also the towels and beddings including hairs. Hot water didn't come through the kitchen tap. Some things like chairs ect. were already broken.
