Gili Eco Villas

Location right on the beach was fantastic. In the morning while having breakfast with sand between your toes, you could watch the turtles popping their heads up, magical! A good sized fridge in the room was a bonus, the bed was comfortable. We especially liked the outdoor bathroom complete with growing plants. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This accommodation is what I would call "rustic", its not 5 star, but we found it very relaxing and laid back and suited us well. We would return here as the snorkeling straight off the beach is fabulous with lots of fish and swimming with turtles is very special. This resort is away from the busiest parts of Gilli Trawangen so it is quiet and restful compared to some of the resorts which cater to the young crowd. Gilli T is known as the party island, but it doesn't have to impact you if you choose the right area to stay such as this resort. If you want to be in the party area don't stay here. You can easily hire a bike from reception and bike all around the island, try out different beaches and places to eat.

The room was quite small, very little space to put a suitcase on the floor.

It’s in the peaceful side of gili t. Good restaurant. Saidi the front office staff was very friendly and helpful.

The front office staff (not saidi, I couldn’t get their name )on the day we were checking out was a bit rude as he could not arrange for a tonga when we had asked for one the previous day and reminded him again before breakfast.

The location was nice and the space was peaceful. The staff were helpful throughout our stay.

The shower had 3 containers of shampoo all labeled something different. The food was not very nice. The bikes we paid for were hardly serviceable.
