Lesanne Cottage ticks all the boxes!

Lesanne Cottage had everything we needed for a short stay in Inverness. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. It was also dog friendly, which is a must for us!

There was nothing to dislike at all, although we would have welcomed instruction booklets for the appliances.

Spotlessly clean & well-furnished cottage in a quiet location

Located in a quiet location a few miles out of Inverness, this cottage very much suited the requirements of our travelling party, consisting of two couples. The cottage is spotlessly clean, well-furnished and decorated nicely. The kitchen is well appointed. There are two bedrooms, one smaller than the other. Beds were comfortable. We also made use of the outside deck that has a table and chairs.

Freezer was so full of frost that we couldn't use it. Outdoor security light which can't be turned off was annoying.

Really beautiful home. We did not stay very long but it was a lovely stay. Very warm and inviting. Very clean and lovely.

You really need a car for this property, It is a bit outside city limits. The only other super picky negative comment were the beds were a little on the hard side.

The cottage was clean, warm and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. It was in a quiet location only 15 minute drive from the town centre.

Near the airport and Culloden Battlefield which was our last day plan and worked well. place was spotless and comfortable. peaceful, too! Checkin was easy and host recommended good restaurant for lunch up the hill. would stay here again.

Good location. Bathroom was nice. Appreciated the washer. Very spacious for family of 4.

Main bedroom was kind of stiff. Couldn’t find the off switch for the light off the main bedroom porch and it illuminated the bedroom more than we cared for at night.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming cottage for relaxing and unwinding after a busy day of exploring.

Having the entire cottage was GREAT! The place was exceptionally clean. The instructions for everything were extremely helpful (note: not all showers work the same). They left a binder with local information and information about the cottage. If there had been a cottage like this everywhere we were during our travels, I would have booked it.

Hard to find something. I guess my daughter and son in-law would have liked a TV in their room, but that wasn't anything huge.

Excellent place to stay

Lovely clean and comfortable accommodation, great location for Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns.. Comfortable beds and there was milk in the fridge. Although we didn't use them, it was a nice touch to have board games and books to use.

Lovely cottage in a stunning location.

The cottage was exceptional well kept and nicely decorated. Very clean and tidy. In a great location for Inverness airport, as were picking family up from the airport. Also just around the corner from Cullodon Battle field really worth a visit.

Close to Culloden and Inverness

We loved staying here - only wish we could have stayed longer as great property! Had a great meal at the Battlefield Restaurant and so close to Culloden and Inverness. The two sofas in lounge were so comfy. The property had everything we needed for a two night stay.

Great for a dog-friendly stop over, everything we needed in a quiet, rural location.

Perfect for our stopover. Really clean and everything we needed. Liked the quietness and not far from Inverness. Great shower. Bonus was the gated decking area.

Really liked the place once we found it but shame that vaping is allowed inside when there is a covered area to use outside, don’t understand why. We like clean air-no smoking should mean no smoking of any sort. Black out blinds would be good, due to security lights in at night.

The best place we stayed at in Scotland

We (family with 2 teenagers) have spent 4 nights at Lesanne Cottage. We did feel at home instantly, the place is spot clean and very well equipped. All instructions and tips were clear and useful and all communication with the hostess very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the location is very quiet. The cottage is within 5 Min walking from the battle field which we visited several times in the evening, when most visitors have gone. The visitor center is very interesting, definitely a must see. We also walked to the clava cairns (approx. 25 Minutes). We can recommend Lesanne Cottage 100% and would definitely come back!

Superb

We enjoyed our stay in this cosy cottage. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a lovely quiet location but very easy to find and with parking right outside. The restaurant across the road was very convenient, and was warm and welcoming with great food.

We had some difficulties controlling the temperature of the shower.
