The house is stunning, beautifully restored, designed and with incredible attention to detail. Delicious food and wine, excellent service. And amazing acres of grounds. A very special place

Rather tepid welcome considering we are regularly returning customers.
The cooking standard at the Artisan, the more casual restaurant in the hotel, has changed, sadly, to mediocrity. Trying too hard to be modern (then becomes irrelevant) rather than simply farm to table using the hotel’s own onsite herbal gardens and greenhouse produces in abundance.
